all i can say is there is no commonality b/w these two bikes , except both have 250cc engine. rest is totally different in terms how they deliver power/style/purpose/usability/maintanance/road presence/economy of running.

so you define your requirements and according to that you choose which comes nearest to your requirements.
Hi Nagoo, Just a little curious here, what are your requirements and how does it suit you?
Have you booked the bike? Can you tell a little more how it felt to ride this coming from an r15?

see my friend, i am more oriented towards racy riding style and ofcourse we can't use such riding position after mid age [40+] and i have been to many time races in MMRC and moreover i am addicted to R15 riding style, this is one part.
from the beginning i was looking for some super-bike kind of bike which has very less power and similar features , after all i am not willing to go beyond 250cc as they were not practical , spending 10L+ and not using bike frequently doesn't appeal me.

about GT250R riding position and looks i liked much and also there is almost nil vibs till top rpm and engine is pretty smooth and i can easily cruise in the city in slow speed due to good low and mid range power [unlike ninja].

and for decent economy [28kmpl] on city is also added + to me ninja gives around 22-24kmpl. so in overall my requirements were superbike alike with medium power sport style decent bike.

even i don;t like the New 2013 Ninja simply it doesn't suits me and my requirements

fair enough bro..i too ride an r15 and planing to upgrade in a few months, even i am addicted to r15 seating posture, but this according to reviews is way more aggressive, but i need to use it for long distance commute and touring too, so i was a little skeptical, also, outright i guess i'll wait for detailed ride reports and also hope for ninja to come here(i loved it ), thanks!
all the best and do keep us posted !

              Absolutely Agree..
I think here in India, anything > 600cc is impractical. and surely, whats the use of buying an expensive bike, if you cant ride it frequently or to its full potential.

-->New 2013 ninja has improved low and mid range torque for better city riding.

I know, it's every one's personal opinion, so personally, I disagree with you on this. (Respect ur choice totally)
I am like totally bowled over once i saw the pictures..Only bad thing, I cant lay my hands on it before 2014

                Ninja? Hyosung? CBR?

Test rode the Kawasaki Ninja in Bangalore...
I must admit, that's one hell of a powerful bike,
                Then there's the CBR250-
Quite a notable bike in the city streets now days, but, its not that eye catching when compared to the other two foes.
                The Hyosung gt250r-
Quite a Muscle than the other two, where the only sudden difference we can notice from the GT650R and the GT250R, is the "COLOUR"
The 250r has a dual tone, where as the 650r has a mono-tone.

                Overall-
                Mileage wise-
                1. Honda CBR 250
                2. Hyosung Gt250r
                3. Kawasaki Ninja

                Power wise-
                1. Ninja
                2. Hyosung
                3. CBR

Look wise-(well, at-least thats what i personally feel)
                1.Hyosung(red/black)
                2.Ninja(the dual tone-red n black)
                3.CBR(the white/blue/red-only without abs,)

I heard that still there is no bike delivered as of now, first deliveries of GT250R will happen around this month end or early next month.
and also heard that its almost more than 300+ bookings happened across few states, will take some time in getting bikes on road.
still there is some delay from koria in shipping the parts

anyone from kolkata got this bike?
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
                          #overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.
