    The old dream yuga mileage is a big concern. One of my friend said it gave him around 60kmpl with daily commuting. Some 2k on his odo.
    Do we expect only this much from a 100cc bike?
    Before deciding to buy Discover, I took a test drive of dream yuga, i was not satisfied, i had doubt about its stability on high speeds. Highly priced too.
    Honda has launched dream neo claiming better mileage but can't be sure.

            Got my dream yuga grey color on 14oct for side bike purposes. ..my main drive is on pulsar 200ns,brought yuga ONLY to have fun(its like cycle with a motor) must say bike is pathetic, brakes are like what the hell,i crashed a brand new TD yuga into auto which was far away and i was riding at 30 ,still it didnt stopped, had to pay 50 bucks to the worker to shut his mouth...overall its a just bike and if it doesn't deliver at least 60.. then im gonna drove it into honda headquarters and plant a bomb in it...overall,bad bike,bad riding position,bad gear(only 4..?) Bad handle only mileage is a point...brought it for 54125...and now regretting,..shouldve purchased new passion or shine or something...

                No sir ive been riding a 102cc activa from past 5 and a half years, and ive grown with 102 cc capabilities. .trust me,braking and power of activa is way better than this cycle,im planning to sell this in dec.

                    Re: Honda Dream Yuga

                    Hi to all!
                    Have been reading various threads and i must say that i am amazed to see the level of expertise of members.
                    Will post here the ownership experience of my year old Dream Yuga.

                    I work at the rural place about 100 kms from Pune. Was considering a 100 cc bike (considering low budget + high mileage). After comparing and taking TD of a few bikes, finally decided to purchase Dream Yuga for its peppy engine and handling characteristics.
                    Got delivery of bike on Dassera (24th Oct), 2012 from Saraf Honda, Baramati (Dist. Pune). Fuel efficiency during the first few months was around 62.5 kmpl (this figure was achieved on a mix of good and bad roads). During one Pune trip, she returned 75 kmpl.
                    But after Feb-Mar 13, the mileage gradually declined to below 55 kmpl. One possible cause was fuel theft from petrol cock which I strongly suspected. I tried highway runs at constant 40 kmph in one shot (so that I could eliminate the fuel theft perpsective) and got only 60 kmpl. I did complain to the authorised service station but they made the condition worse.
                    Finally decided to do DIY and after reading carburettor tuning method as discussed by sibun, pinaki, shoeb, paul, psr, etc on Splendor thread, I tuned the AFR myself (2.5 turns anti-clockwise from fully closed) and now the FE is back to 62-63 kmpl. However i have noticed the following:
                    1. while doing button start, bike does not start unless i give slight throttle.
                    2. after starting rpm increases and then gradually lowers.
                    3. after doing a run of 40-50 km (or even less in hot conditions) after switching off the engine, if i again try to switch it on then the engine wont start unless i apply sufficient throttle. In this situation, the engine will stall unless i give some throttle for a few seconds; otherwise it wont sustain.
                    4. Is my AFR ok or am i running lean?
                    5. The place where i live, the climate is really windy from Holi to Diwali (almost 9 months). Can strong wind adversely affect FE?

                    Looking forward to your replies.. Will post other experiences soon..

                    (this is my first post so apologies if there are any mistakes in posting this message)

                        For tuning:
                        Clockwise = Rich
                        Anticlockwise = Lean.
                        Don't try to mess up with tuning, unless you are experienced.

                          Thank you. I tried, ended up with stock setting being the lean best idle. Turning either way decreased the rpm

                            Exactly!! The stock setting is optimum, on leaner side for good FE..Note it, just in case mechanic at ASC mess up.

                              Difference in engine behaviour day and night

                              Guys,
                              I have a honda dream. I feel difference in riding during morning and night. During morning, the bike is very good and happy to rev (Engine oil shell 20w40).
                              But at night (after leaving 8 hrs at office) with a pilion rider, engine feels bit tingling vibration in handle bar. Is there any possibility of this? should I do something
