I am fully satisfied with the rear tyre of Thunderbird/Classic 500. Mine had only one puncture so far in 20 k km/3 years. My son's Classic 500 also suffered from only one puncture in 33 k km so far. It is because of its puncture-resistant hard rubber. Simply for this reason, I vote for the OE stock MRF Nylogrip Zapper C for the rear. I will go for the same OE stock one when the time comes for replacement.

Hi Neil , I was trying to msg u but it says ur msg box is filled up . Can we use tubeless tyres on spoked wheels like the Pirelli sports demon you use on your continental gt . Can you throw some light on it .

            Hi Guys,
Just a quick question , took mine out for a quick ride to lonavala today. Two quick observations both breaks screeching , like old day drum breaks maybe something to do with the mud and dirt all the way.
Something which got me to break a sweat was bike stalling at low rpm/ speeds and high gears . See you must be thinking well isin't this a foolish think to ask but usually I find bikes coming to stall after few jerks when the gears are up and RPMs come down . TB today just stopped , as if engine has been killed . Should I be concerned or is it proprietary of Fuel Injection ?

It is good at both roads. An all rounder.

May be you need to clean the break pads, or change it if needed.

Low speed on a high gear will make any geared bike to stall AFAIK, when you reduce the speed you have to shift down the gear as well.

Thanks for the updates, I really appreciate it .
I tried reproducing the issue again, its coming out of the 3rd gear on the bike. I confirmed it , when bike is on third gear and you rev it up , usually mine stops like the engine has been cut off ! I am talking about speeds 30-40 kmph

False neutral or some wicked stuff is it ?

Can try TVS chain lubricate. Very good review, price.

You may need to take it to service center and reproduce the issue in front of service supervisor

After deciding to retire the OE stock rear-view mirrors [RVM] as the LHS has become dull and faded, I selected the new Avenger Cruise chrome RVM as they look sturdier, more stylish and better quality compared to the OE stock ones.

Since my son was also not satisfied with his Classic 500's OE stock ones, I bought a set and fitted on his Classic 500. He is satisfied with the new Avenger Cruise RVM after using for a coupla days. So, today, I bought another set and fixed them on my Blue Bird. Each set costs ₹ 678. I am yet to test the new RVM on the city roads and highways.
