So i made it parallel. Never tried series.
Relay setup directly draws current from battery hence it will honk louder.
I had roots installed with relay on my 8.5yrs old Activa. Unfortunately, one horn got weak after few years. The other one is mounted on my bike.
Its some 6-7 years old, so i don't remember its cost.

I have the stock ZMA horn lying somewhere here, will give it a shot. I.e if i find it, there's also a tractor horn lying around, lets see. 😃

I see a drained battery in future. What's the amperage rating of the horn?

Oh, you mean the white thingi that looks like a mesh filter? Its the filter that collects metal particles in the oil.

Yeah abnd about the mileage, I can go one side to Bangalore for 650~700rs fuel. That's 750~800kms approx depending on route fluctuations.

Took bike for a pressure wash, tightened and lubed chain for the first time(damaged the adjuster on one side in the process. Will replace when I change the chain kit.).
Went hunting for Shell AX7, but couldnt source, so instead got the 350/- Valvoline, the pseudo syth one. The pack said theres a special gift inside, but I didnt find anything, will change oil tomorrow, who knows the gift might be inside the bottle

Oh yeah! Almost forgot, today afternoon I had ridden to my old college and came back, the bike did around 80kms and parked it on side stand at a bank, was inside for almost an hour, when I came out and started the bike everything was fine, it ran for barely half a km and started to sputter and eventually died, I didnt know what happened, the fuel was on, so I just pushed in both the distributor caps and opened and closed the fuel tank. After which the bike started and worked fine till now. Why this glitch? Any clues?

Some Water might had entered through right side distributor. It dries out after some time as the engine runs hot. Just open the spark plug cap and if there are any visible spots or any water presence then your problem is diagnosed. Clean it then Apply some sealant and close it.

Or if we think in simple manner, then it would be just touching reserve or poor fuel or anything.

Its not water, cause it didn't rain anytime soon. And bike had half tank fuel and is still running on mains. Im trying to ignore but i get the ache in my guts which tells me that there's a chance of me getting stranded on the highways.

                    And regarding oils,
                    1. Bajaj Stock Oil - 3.5/10
                    2. Valvoline 4T Champion - 4/10
                    3. Motul 300V Factory Line - 6/10
                    4. Shell AX5 - 7.5/10

Will shift to Valvoline 4T Premium tomorrow morning.

Changed oil to Valvoline 4T Premium (The pseudo synth one.) Rode for 100~150kms. Bike feels like the Classic P150, thumpy here and there and I cant feel the engine.
And I noticed something, the bike feels strange now, I'm assuming it has something to do with the stalling that happened yesterday, it feels as though,
                      1. AF is blocked.
                      2. Irregular SP firing.
                      3. Blocked fuel pipe/filter
Since the bike didnt stall I didnt take it that seriously, anyways tomorrow morning I'll be leaving for Palghat, and the day following that will be riding to Bangalore. Lets see if the odds are in my favor.

A pic of me taken at Varkala Cliff, the place I visited to test out the oil. (Total dist, 100~150kms)

Inspect your bike before leaving. If the stalling is really serious it may hurdle the top end.

                          Day 1,
Flat rear tire with multiple tears, the TVS tube sucks, had it patched at a local shop after waiting for almost 2~3hrs, this happened cause we were stuck in a remote place in Allepy and the next shop was a considerable distance ahead, and I was in no mood to push the bike. The downside was that it cost me Rs.100 and since the tools used were substandard there are visible paint peels in the alloy.
On reaching Palghat the tube was replaced with one from Continental and had both the tires filled with Nitrogen.

                          Day 2,
Stayed at my friends(The one seen in the above pic sleeping in front of the tire repair shop.) place at Palghat. And started by 5.30am, decided to take a different route, and went towards Pollachi > Chenni Malai > Bhavani route, nothing much to say, cause everything went smooth. I guess thats why its always best to tour alone. The lesser the hastle the sooner you reach the destination.

The mileage per liter of the bike was considerably low, since I was riding in the redline most of the time and also considering the added luggage.

For the future, I'm planning on getting a waterproof cellphone handle mount, something like this.

Speed was 70~80kmph most of the time and at times 80~90kmph.

Mileage was ZMA'ish, total fuel cost was 900rs, before it was 650~700rs.

Still you got a good mileage.
                                Edit: its 60+

I had ripped my bike like hell.
On a 400kms journey, max speed was 97. Driven continuously at 90, it feels smooth upto 90, and heavily vibrates around 91-95.
Most of the time at 80-85.
For this whole trip I got average 60kmpl exactly. That's minimum i think

I will post some more as when i get some spare time
