i am wondering which international bike of yamaha has the same pillion seat dimensions so that i can ship one online.

I own a 2017 model fz fi and and had sticker on the fibre part which is covering the tail lamp(brake light). I used a steel scrubber to remove it and resulted scratches.
Is there anyway how I can repaint it?
Or recover it

Hi Folks, I am an Apache RTR 160 owner, and after 4 years and approx 35k kms on it, am itching for a change. Subject to certain financial approvals , am seriously considering buying a FZ v2.0 in Black.

Pune members, is there any dealer that you particularly recommend? Or are all of them more or less the same, with a decent sales experience being like a lottery?

My throttle is jammed and does not roll back of its own. I consulted a mechanic and he suggested to change the throttle cable. I ride my bike very less maybe that has led to this issue. Has anyone changed the throttle cable and whats the price of a pair of throttle cable ?

Chain sprocket are still stock. Mostly next week I m going for a service.

Ya bro, im maintaining at proper intervals. Have you changed your tyres And chain sprockrt.. if so at which km did you change them. Also have you seen anyone having bike for more than 40k kms . I have not seen any one.. it king of scares me about the bike.

I don't know about the engine life. But my bike crossing 20k so far no issues with fi system. It works fine. You have to service your bike in proper intervals

Fz v2.0. Suspension are good enough for be roads.
Especially when you have pillion rider.

On long rides with 80-90 kmph or more than that my fz s V2 gives me 50 kmpl

Almost same in Bangalore peak traffic between 45 - 50 kmpl

Each service in around 1500 rs for me include oil changes.

Hello there , everyone. Firstly , this is my first post as an xBhpian , so cheers.
I'm planning to get a bike very soon. My choices were Suzuki Gixxer vs. Honda Hornet vs. Yamaha FZ-S v2.0. In all honesty , I don't like Bajaj , so the new Pulsar NS160 or even the NS200 or Pulsar 220 were not considered.
I went for test rides of both , The Gixxer and the Hornet. The Gixxer had to be eliminated because the pillion seat is too small. I will have to take my mother around on the bike , so it was a tough elimination. I rode the Hornet , on which my mom was more comfortable , but then , it wasn't a satisfactory experience. Some of you may agree with me that the level of comfort , engine refinement , gearbox smoothness of the regular Honda Unicorn is missing on the Hornet. I love the Unicorn and didn't find the same experience here. I could also consider the Unicorn , but it's way too dated a design for me to think of.
So even if I keep the Hornet in the short listing , I have the Hornet vs. The FZ-S. Will be test riding the FZ-S today.

So my requirements are :
Comfort to ride in the city , especially Hyderabad traffic and the worst possible roads ever.
Occasional trip to college , which is a 100 kms travel (50 kms to and fro) , maybe 2-3 days a week
Occasional long distance rides of 200-300 kms (once a month)
Pillion comfort
Engine refinement
Light Clutch
Reliability.

I've rideen the Yamaha FZ v1 , which to this day remains one of my favorite bikes ever.

So as owners of the FZ-S ' FZ v2.0 , my question to you all is this.

In mid 2017 , considering the bike is almost 3 years into the market now , is it worth going for the Yamaha FZ at this point of time?
I'm well aware that FZ will be reliable , but what's your opinion. Also please give me answers to 3 more questions in specific
1) How is the suspension performance for bad raods?
2) What's the fuel economy that you guys are managing in peak traffic , highway rides/ long rides with average speed of 80-90 kmph
3) What is the cost of each service?

Don't worry , it has good refined engine as well as well tweeked chasis that can assure your road grip at any point of time in any circumstances.

As of now my bike has clocked 3000 odd , it still smells like a new one. It is giving me mileage of 42-43 in city and 46-50 on Highways.

No extra money is needed to maintain this , Thanks to Yes! Yamaha's quality.

The Milage Factor

Hello,Im Arunjit from kolkata,I own a 2015 FZS fi V2,In stock condition im getting milage around 40-45,In last few months I have experimented a lot with my bike,I have put KN conicial air filter,then changed stock to iridium spark plug and high voltage cable .Then I have changed my front sprocket from 14t to 15t of pulsar 150 and now Im getting a milage about 52-57 kmpl,shifting up quickly and keeping revs under 5000rpm.But if i put a ffe exhaust then milage decreases to wooping 32 kmpl with high revs and quick accleration.Hope this is helpful,Thankyou.This is totally my personal experince .

Hi guys, i am planning to get a new bike. I am coming from Apache 160, i have shortlist the fz 2.0.
I am happy with my Apache 160, as my bike is nearing 6 years, I am planning to buy new bike. I am considering the FZ 2.0.
I don't cruise at high speeds >80. My driving style is around 60-80 kph. How good is the bike in this range. How good is the low, mid end torque of the bike. How the bike performs along with the pillion. would be enough power in band of 60-80 kph.

Hai i have fz16 ver 2. My stock headlight is not enough on night drive.. It is 35w halogen bulb..can i upgrade to 55w halogen and it will not damage battery right is it possible? Pls suggest good brand/model bulb
