It would seem a bit of brand chauvinism but it really feels good to have the same brand of performance bike as preferred or rather endorsed by 'The Doctor'.

As per the manual the idle rpm range is from 1300-1500. I have seen FI bikes are usually kept at a higher idle rpm compared to carburated bikes.

My bad. Didn't realise that the idle RPM on V2 varied from V1 (which was 1200RPM). If the fact you said is correct, it is due to the fact that FI needs a higher idle compared to carb variants (V1).

The SVC fellow has also adjusted the accelerator cable and the idling rpm. Not able to locate the root of the issue.

If the engine stalls with an abrupt throttle input but is okay with a gradual throttle input, then check the spark plug and spark plug cap.

Yes both parts are separately available and are direct fit no alteration required. Just make sure that the short mudguard is of the rear drum brake variant and not the rear disc brake variant, the one one the rear disc variant is slightly different. The rear long fender is same on all variant.

It might touch the mudguard but not sure, I have seen many people using 140/70 section tyre with the mudguard, 150/60 is a shorter tyre compared to 140/70 . I use a 140/70 tyre and have seen there is hardly any space between the mudguard and the tyre so I have put the short mudguard and the rear fender from the new fz model. If you put the short mudguard and the long rear fender then the 150/60 tyre will fit easily.

Im in Bangalore and it is not unusually cold. I tried blipping in neutral after riding the vehicle home for an hour/17km in the evening.

Otherwise, the bike is perfectly alright. If I dont blip, it doesnt stall or die in neutral or full clutch. It has a decent speed range that it can fall to while slowing down from higher gear, without stalling.

My FZS V2 is just about 8 months old and I have clocked about 4000 kms. Am I doing something wrong or is it an issue with the bike or isnt the bike fit for downshift?
