I doubt that FE will increase in fact it should decrease because in initial running in i was very very conservative driver low rpm 5.5k, gradual acceleration and braking etc. but yes it shows that bike had capability to get good FE.

And now i am revving freely till 8.5k every now and then more fast driving and braking, so fuel efficiency will be low for next tank fuel and bike power delivery is linear & responsive till 8.5K reaches 100+KMPH in hurry with strong pull and its going on .but engine sound changes after 6K drastically but smoothness & stability is same.

Why the are taking this much time for delivery ? mine was delivered on spot. i had told them to prepared bike 3 hrs ago only.

Any way keep your fingers crossed and push for early delivery. as this is fully possible

I didn't want to push, because I wanted after registration & with the number plates affixed (they've assured these will be the IND, embossed aluminium ones) & hence postponed to tomorrow. Else, I could take the delivery this evening itself.

How much are they charging for those plates?

I think it's done as complimentary. Will keep you posted if otherwise. In the market, they'd charge you anywhere between 650 to 850 for bikes.

Re: Suzuki Inazuma 250 - Owners Reviews

today i had drag racing with a R15 V2 owner we had mute understanding of drag racing after pass light exchange and started it was noida expressway in morning so long stretch.

we had restarted drag 3 times in total and I was overtaking him at will with out any slightest difficulty, no where at rpm band speed 40KMPH or 105KMPH pulling strongly as easily on 105KMPH as on 40KMPH all the 03 times he just got lost in RVM every time without giving any challange.

But here is kicker at last i was defeated and he overtook me at last bcz i was limited to 8.2k rpm and the speed relates to this rpm is 108KMPH, and he got enough space for higher speed, so much power left to use but no top speed, Inazuma definitely has short gear.i had enough power & torque left with me go to higher speed but could not.

One more thing i crossed 10k rpm against 8.2K limit( unintentionally only, as bike pulled so strongly that before realizing i had crossed it) i was trying to catch him when he overtook due to his top speed but suddenly i realized that i am in running in and slowed down letting him win. will crossing rpm limit occasionally permitted or can have any effect. anybody clarify please.

And one more query bike is very soft on potholes just feel like smooth, floating over it but on speed breakers(badly design) something hits below my seat. why is this difference on different road condition. Do i have to change driving style or need to change adjustable suspension setting? kindly advise

What you did is actually required... the engine has already got set in the first hundred kms. Nothing happens now.. just don't red line till first three months or so. It has got enough power that you can never redline it inside city, if you are in the correct gear.
The suspension may be on the softest setting.. try making it harder.

Occasionally, taking it to higher rpms is fine. Also, don't keep the throttle pinned there. Do short bursts. After run in, you're free to wind it up.

Yes, the Zuma is short geared. There are many owners who've changed their front sprocket to 15 or 16 T & have found benefits.

Update on 29th Sep - Got the bike delivered today. Will put some mileage on it, before I write down my initial ride report; the odo has got 80 km on it, so far.

This bike does get a lot of stares in traffic lights, as well as on the move. Possibly because of the bright red color & the twin exhausts. The low rev-rumble is sonorous, gratifying & satisfies my requirements. The smoothness of the engine has to be felt, to be believed & the bike is extremely stable on the curves & in a straight line. I didn't want to exceed the run-in limit & hence at 5.5k rpm @ 6th, it does 75 kmph.

What is amazing, is that it clears all the speed-breakers with aplomb & I didn't have to shift to 1st gear, while traversing those. Gear-shift is a bit on the clunky side, but shifts are positive on the move (except when I had to come to a sudden stop & couldn't shift as easily back to Neutral from 6th). This bike is terribly short-geared; 1st gear, more so. There is nothing much you can do in 1st & you'll be comfortable shifting to 2nd & progress on, as soon as you get the bike moving.

On a more positive note, the ride-ability is quite good & I could trundle in 6th, in as low as 40 kmph, comfortably. Brakes feel a bit spongy though & I feel that it would improve on the pads breaking-in. Overall, am satisfied with the purchase & I hope to put on many miles on this bike!

Yes, don't get me wrong - the gearshift 'operation' is smooth, but the shift itself feels clunky (I guess this is true of all big bikes); it will only improve as I add more miles to it. I'm reveling in the smoothness of the engine (coming from a 200NS) & the big bike feel - stability, poise & the unhurried nature. Also, half of my colleagues are already very appreciative of my purchase! In the flesh, the bike feels too good to look. Some of them, who were earlier not liking the bike from the pics, have become a fan of it, now.

For now, the only accessory I'd like to go for, is the centre-stand. More would come in, as & when I'm able to save up the vital vitamin-M.

@raja_ghuru :-Be prepared for more stares, looks & center of attraction on road, which you will be getting now from stranger and insecure feeling as wherever you park you will find the people will gather around it, take photo with her and other stuffs, as we can not always park the safely.

I am thinking of center locking but not sure of installation, warranty of bike & reliability. but i am feeling insecure seeing the response of bystander & passerby when traveling/parking

I think i can live without center stand as previous bike(R15) also has none.

Also i am thinking of some soft & VERY comfortable seat cover to increase ride quality further, i want to pamper myself & my wife while riding(she loves to cruise at 65-70KMPH with total relaxation with me) anybody suggestion please from where to get & what to get?

Yes, you're right. She draws stares at traffic lights & most of them assume it to be at least '500 cc'.

For padding, try some gel seat options. Also, in some UK site, I saw an owner use sheepskin cover to pamper his derriere.

@raja_ghuru budy share your experience with your ride or you are so much engrossed in riding that forgot to share.

How running in is completed, smoothness & vibe free ride still there? feeling any engine heat anytime because occassionaly i do feel very little hot air on my legs, wand what about the acc. and pulling power?

Any way just want to add one comment that now i am regularly taking it to 130+ KMPH and literally i feel like flying over the seat by wind flow/resistance its no joke (67KG wgt.)

Bike had juice/power to go more but i could not get the confidence to accelerate further as fear off flying of the seat
