How running in is completed, smoothness & vibe free ride still there? feeling any engine heat anytime because occassionaly i do feel very little hot air on my legs, wand what about the acc. and pulling power?

Any way just want to add one comment that now i am regularly taking it to 130+ KMPH and literally i feel like flying over the seat by wind flow/resistance its no joke (67KG wgt.)

Bike had juice/power to go more but i could not get the confidence to accelerate further as fear off flying of the seat
How I wish I had more time with the bike!

Well, I've just added 250 KM to the odo - I wanted to post a detailed report on the bike, once I was done with the first service. Also, our new princess (my 5-month old baby girl), takes up most of our attention & time, so I'm adding only commuting miles to the bike, for now. The riding, for now is only within the city - as I'm following the running-in rpm limits (5.5k rpm for the first 800 KM). She gets the usual stares everyday, at most signals & at my office's parking lot - at least one guy has already sat on it to get a feel, on a daily basis.

The engine is butter-smooth & I love the low-rev burble from the twin and the way it smoothly builds the revs. The handling is neutral (in spite of it being a heavy bike) & you can maneuver the bike with relative ease during riding & standstill. I'm even able to push it around for parking, with relative ease. The build is solid (but more on that as & when I keep adding miles to it), the finish is impeccable & feel of quality is great. I've ordered for a centre-stand & I'm told that I'm on queue; there is a backlog to clear, for previous orders - Suzuki could've kept that as standard fitment, at least on bikes sold in India.

I somehow find the riding position not exactly 'in place', in that, it is not uncomfortable - however, I would've liked it better, had: 1) either the handlebars been the regular ones & raised some more and broader (like the GW250F); 2) or the foot-pegs were slightly more rear placed. It would've reduced the curve of my backbone a bit. That said, the overall rider triangle is alright & the clip-ons are great in quality, fit & feel. And the fact that as my arms are long, I don't have to reach out for the bars.

Heat in traffic - it is perceptible, ever so slightly, on the right side of the bike. That is, after a good 30 min of riding 'in traffic'. I've never felt uncomfortable, though (I usually wear jeans). I'll be able to comment on highway traits once I've done a decent ride, on one.

Power is available when you want it, you just have to be refined in your throttle inputs though & you can progress quickly through traffic. The gearbox is smooth & the shift quality has now improved; I'm expecting it to be even better after the 1st service.

Harrowing experience in the first week - not with the bike, but with the dealer & ICICI Lombard - the dealer had taken the insurance with the wrong chassis number & had sent for correction. Half my free time was spent on following this up & finally it culminated today, with ICICI Lombard sending an 'endorsement' letter, stating correction. Not a fresh policy. Sad. I was in no mood to waste any more time; nevertheless, gave strong feedback to the GM of SMK Suzuki, about the bad taste that this whole set of events left in me.

At this point, I'm not confident as to how the after-sales with these folks is going to be: but, I'm with an open mind & let me see what comes my way. For now, I'm going to focus only on adding miles to the bike. Cheers!

Re: Suzuki Inazuma 250 - Owners Reviews

I got to ride the bike for about 11kms inside Bangalore city. I ride a 200ns so my instant attention fell on the engine smoothness and suspension. Brilliant.

I found the acceleration to be very linear with minor jerks in Gear 1 & 2, and suspension super smooth. Normal potholes then generally rattle my spine felt so smooth. Only bike that I can compare on these 2 parameters based on my riding experience is Honda CBR250R. The on road price of the bike in Bangalore is close to 2.48L as of Oct'14.

This might sound weird but has any of the owners here felt Vibration below your seat when you start the bike?

Agree with you on the riding posture. The handle should've been slightly more broader or closer to the rider. The sitting posture is slightly aggressive, in my opinion for a tourer.

And it would take a little getting used to the dimensions of the bike as the rear seems to be broader than normal bikes.

Loved the front indicators & big RVMs. Wonder why they didn't integrate the rear indicators with the body just like in the front.

I used to ride a 200NS too. The refinement & stability would be a revelation the first time around.

I've never noticed any jerks in the fuelling so far, maybe coz I'm not winding the throttle up, yet.

Yep, it's linear like the CBR. Hondas are famed for their PGM-FI system. I feel the suspension of the Zuma, is even more plush than the CBR.

I think I'm used to the girth by now, as I'm able to handle it quite easily. In fact, this is one of the most straightforward bikes to ride.

I preferred the other way round, for the blinkers!

                  The RVMs are extremely useful.

Re: Suzuki Inazuma 250 - Owners Reviews

Today, I visited My Suzuki dealer regarding RC and i inquired about how many Inazuma they sold last month, he replied:- 3 Inazuma in cash & one bank application is in verification. Not a bad selling figure for this kind of bike.

Meanwhile i had some fun with duke(Duke 200) rider on mix of city ride and highway(Delhi - Gurgaon) and i was able to keep up with it without much effort. Inazuma is pulling hard when ridden carefully though Duke was certainly more flick able between traffic.

I am facing too much of wind resistance at speed greater than 125KMPH its feeling very difficult to increase speed further due to wind blast, I am not feeling comfortable at all. my previous bike (R15) i had crossed 136KMPH without much wind problem.

Any suggestion, apart from driving slow are most welcome.

People who know what they need this bike for, definitely go for it. Also, once you get a hang of the girth, you can easily flick through traffic. On corners, the stability would amaze you.

You can opt for windscreens. Just search the net, there are options available (certainly not in India), you've to ship those from UK or US. I remember sharing a link where an owner used a tall one.

This is the most good looking windscreen for inazuma. Generally windscreen use to spoil the look but this is one is enhancing and making it look better and proportionate. I don't think you have to order it as it can you around 4000-10000. In fact you can get it done in India easily but for that you have to find a good acrylic or plastic artist who make trophies, glow sign boards, 3d cut letters, backlit boards, lit letters etc.

@liionheart can get it done from paharganj as he is from delhi.

Hello Guys, I currently own a Discover 150 and am an impulse rider. I have done about 26000km on the bike of which 20000km are touring.
I have fallen in love with the Inazuma 250 ever since i took the 1st test ride about a month ago. I have been trying to get owner reviews for the bike since a long time. I have been through all the test ride reports by various media. They were all WOW about the bike but held their thumbs down for the price. However, Since Suzuki slashed the Price by a Lac, it has changed a lot.
I would like to hear a bit more about the milage and the maintenance cost of the bile. I've also read about the Brake Pads wearing out soon on the Inazuma.
Guys, please help me take the plunge

                                Hello Members,

This is first post in xBHP, though I frequently read forums and others. Returning to biking after 4 years. I gave my car to my wife and now managed to convince her that I need a bike

I am scouting Inazuma threads all over for almost 2 months. I took test rides almost all bikes available including dukes and Ninja 300 excluding REs.
                                Dukes: Don't know didn't like.
Ninja 300: Beauty Queen, too expensive, All ladies in my house liked it they thought I booked it.
CBR 250: Good bike, But single cylinder, I feel anything above 200cc should be 2 cylinders.
                                Inazuma: Yes.

I liked the Inazuma. I took the test ride as I said, its build to last and almost vibe free. I feel I can gift my growing daughter One day for her college. Its a very practical bike. People do notice you once you take her outside. Yes the design and the bike grows on you like the lady you love. My need is daily commuting and touring in weekends. I have booked a black one already. I am posting few pics.
