    Bought a used 2016 model Gixxer sp in the month of March. Changed the oil to shell ax7 10w 40 and replaced the rubber seals on the head cover as the oil was leaking
    And coming to the mileage
    When riding at 60-65 i got close to 55kmpl and on a recent 600 km ride FE was limited to 40kmpl at the speeds of 85-90kmph.Click image for larger version

    2014 Naked Model, current battery is the stock one.
    Your battery life is ending and since it has served you 5 faithful years, you should change it in yours and the bike's best interest.
    The hiccup just means that the battery is not able to take the load anymore. Premature signs of a battery giving up. No other alternative solution than changing to a new battery.

    Good luck on booking the bike. Do a proper PDI before taking the delivery, that's the only thing you need to keep in mind as of now.

    Fellow Bikers,


    Lately i've been facing an issue with my bike self start. When i try to crank it up, it starts with the sound as if it's about to start and all of a sudden sound changes to
    as if there is a dead battery. I don't see an issue with the battery as all the electrical's work as expected (horn,headlight, indicators).

    Guys facing a problem lately from the engine. Theres a clicking/ticking noise from the engine. The exact area would be under the air fins area.

    i have brought speedo sensor will replace it in day or two.
    Anyone have used castrol power1 10w40 semi synthetic oil in gixxer
    any feedback regarding gear shifts

    any other oil that will smoothen the gear shifts?
    pls share ur experiences.

    Looks like an issue with your speedo sensor. Get it replaced.

    i checked it. with app on play store
    its working fine till 25kmph
    after increasing speed its showing difference. local mechanic said u need to change the sensor [emoji850][emoji52]

    Check your speed with a GPS app. The difference in speed between the GPS value and bike speedo should be within 10%. If its way more than that, then either your speedo sensor has gone bad or the calibration has gone off.

    friends i have new problem with my bike, my bike speedometer seems to be faulty, i have covered around 90kms today. but speedometer has recorded only 72kms. also it shows speeds less ie, my friend's hornet was at 48-50kmph and my gixxer was showing 36-45kmph. we both were riding side by side.
