Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Bought a used 2016 model Gixxer sp in the month of March. Changed the oil to shell ax7 10w 40 and replaced the rubber seals on the head cover as the oil was leaking
And coming to the mileage
When riding at 60-65 i got close to 55kmpl and on a recent 600 km ride FE was limited to 40kmpl at the speeds of 85-90kmph.

Thanks mate, will replace my battery.Originally posted by Ashwiin Napster View PostYour battery life is ending and since it has served you 5 faithful years, you should change it in yours and the bike's best interest.
The hiccup just means that the battery is not able to take the load anymore. Premature signs of a battery giving up. No other alternative solution than changing to a new battery.

as if there is a dead battery. I don't see an issue with the battery as all the electrical's work as expected (horn, headlight, indicators).
Any one facing/faced similar issue?
Is this an issue of a battery where it's not able to supply enough power to start the engine?
If so is there an alternative solution rather than changing the battery?
2014 Naked Model, current battery is the stock one.

Good luck on booking the bike. Do a proper PDI before taking the delivery, that's the only thing you need to keep in mind as of now.Originally posted by shas0408 View PostGuys, I booked Gixxer 2019 Naked version today, expecting delivery including RTO registration by 8th October.
Anything I should keep in mind?

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Check your speed with a GPS app. The difference in speed between the GPS value and bike speedo should be within 10%. If its way more than that, then either your speedo sensor has gone bad or the calibration has gone off.Originally posted by djcena View Posteverything is stock. no mods yet

Are you using Off-spec tyres or sprockets?Originally posted by djcena View Postfriends i have new problem with my bike, my bike speedometer seems to be faulty, i have covered around 90kms today. but speedometer has recorded only 72kms. also it shows speeds less ie, my friend's hornet was at 48-50kmph and my gixxer was showing 36-45kmph. we both were riding side by side.
is it problem with sensor?
or it can be repaired/replaced?
