Check your spark plug immediately, Do you recently done any Engine servicing ? Is the spark plug is the OEM specified one ? The blast you experiencing is may be related to Pre-ignition or detonation. "Spark plugs with the wrong heat range (too hot) can cause detonation as well as preignition". Or check your silencer header for any malfunction (less likely).

I am pretty sure its detonation : "If your engine has a detonation problem, you'll be most apt to hear it when accelerating under load, when giving the engine gas when you are in a high gear or when lugging the engine"

    Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155

    Hello guys,

My bike had an Oil leak near Magneto cover
    1. Went to service center they said hole under the air filter is blocked (I have no clue what they are saying if you understand please explain).

That did make a change, my bike vibrations increases exactly at 67kmph after this service vibrations are still present but engine is freely revving at higher speeds. (I completely 7 services how come they have not noticed it till now)

    2. Oil leak didn't stop and after watching motoblizz(mogard) videos on YouTube and showing it to them they changed stator after BS argument.

    3. After that engine was overheating even for very short rides. I can feel the heat on both my legs. Went to service center from what I can understand they cleaned the stator.

    4. Overheating from stator reduced but I still notice a bit of heat from other side. (May be it's normal not sure). Problem was the electrical burning smell. Is it due to new stator coil? Please help!

I am not interested in taking my bike again to service center cause the technicians are not skilled. Sent a mail to suzuki waiting for response.

For those people who are in Kakinada: Never go to service center in Kakinada they simply wash your bike and tell you to collect. Just go to nearby City for servicing. I definitely will stop going here.

    I hope this video helps

And for lube gear oil is cheaper option rather than spending on a chain spray

[QUOTE=thousifkhan24;1350993]I am having a strange issue during start of Bike .Untill last few days it was all fine but suddenly the bike is not starting up. My bike is 11 months old and 3500kms on odo. I have attached the video for reference.

Previously it started in a single press of the switch, but now I need to hold it a little bit longer. I'm having this for past three months. One night before 2 weeks, the starter switch became completely dis-functional, when I press and hold the switch there is not even the cranking sound (I can say for sure nothing is moving inside the engine) but a whining noise (sound like when the motor is freely running in empty space). Goodness I have the kicker, I used it for the rest of the starts that night. The next morning, I used the electric start switch and the bike started, but not in short single press, but a long press as I usually have for the past three months. All electrical devices except horn are stock as of now. The horn is R15 V2's.

I'm planning to get the BSIII switch mould and replace the current one. I think the issue might solve as the headlamp will not be running in the day time and alternator will have less load
Yes, it is definitely the case of a week battery. Please see the above video of mine. I have got the battery replaced under warranty in its 12th month. Now issues with new battery now. I have got an auxiliary switch installed for head light.

ANyone here with a 2015 red colored naked gixxer? I would like a little help from you. I require a snapshot of front, rear and both sides. You can remove or cover or blur out your number plates.

    Thanks

What are the possible causes for a dying battery? I didn't do any harm?
Well every thing has a design life. A battery works because of the electrodes and the acid in side it, over time they erode away and the current produced by it reduces over time. Like the battery in your cellphone, it also degrades over time similarly a bike/ car battery also degrades or any battery for that matter.

My suggestion is get your battery voltage checked and it will tell you if that's the problem or not.

The problem is if I leave the bike with key turned on after ~5-10 minutes, the bike wont start.. The self makes weird noise (tic tic tic tic noise) and the dashboard flashes. Also, the kick start also feels to too stiff and I have to roll the bike few steps for the kick start to work. After that theres no problem starting the bike with self and kick.

You mean battery is running out of power or the battery is going to be dead and I have to replace it?

Hey. Lucky you weren't injured. Did the fork oil got replaced after the adjustments?
