      I don't have any idea of contacting directly. But if u go to any SVC there ll be one board with details like workshop manager contact details and suzuki engineer contact details. Better contact that suzuki engineer for your area.

        I have taken my bike twice to 105kmph for the short bursts.odo 117km what are the possible consequences?

          If u do it frequently until your break-in period u ll face some mileage issues later.

              Do whatever u want but don't cross the RPM as mentioned in the manual till ur break in period.

                Does the engine oil come pre-filled from the factory or does it get filled at the workshop/showroom during delivery?

                That would be a very bad idea. Touring involves staying at a consistent speed for extended duration which is not what you are supposed to do in a Break-in process. Your engine needs to have frequent up and downs to breakin properly.

                  It took me two Chennai-Puducherry trips on the ECR to bring the odometer on my GS to a decent 958 for first service.

                  Two things I ensured:
                  1. Constant variation in speed. As soon as I hit 4.5k on tacho, would gradually ease to 3k and accelerate very gently to 4.5k again. Made a dead stop every 10-15 kms so that I can accelerate and use gears 1-5 again before settling on 6th. Took care not to let the rpm fall below 2.5k.

                  My speed-time graph was exactly like AC current.

                  2. A break every 40-50 kms for tender coconut/tea/nature call. Just make an excuse!

                  Though touring is not preferred, many tourist cabs have their run-ins on the Highway and run fine. My GS is fine too. Touring works for people whose city running is very less for a decent run before 1st service.

                    apart from Suzuki's OE Oils, ( motul 10W40 and idemitsu 10W40 ) which of these two semi-synthetic oils is better suited for the Gixxer?.

                    1. Shell Advance AX7 - 10W40
                    2. Motul 5100 4T - 15W50

                        Take it to SVC bro and show before them, they will disassemble and assemble the disc section. It won't take more than 20min.

                            If so loose the rear brake screw gently located near back wheel and check whether your wheel is moving freely. How much ever u r loosening the screw your rear brake power will reduce. Try it carefully. After loosening the screw apply the rear brake and check whether it is breaking properly or not.

                              Shell Advance AX7 - 10W40 , I'm using it from 1000KM and its good. Don't go for oils with more than W40 as acceleration will be sluggish.
