Is this value normal or less?

I am also riding my gixer sf between 80 to 105 kmph and getting same mileage as you. 120 kmph maximum speed i got
average is also main concern for me.

Guys, I own a naked gixxer. I did my third service@ 2500 km and have clocked another 700 km since. During 3rd service the engine oil was changed from Motul 10W40 to Suzuki oil manufactured by Idemitsu (10W40). Now it feels like the engine is running hotter than earlier. Is this normal? Can anyone shed some light on the drain interval of this engine oil by Idemitsu?

There are lot of videos avbl in YouTube. I'll help u if needed. Actually this is very simple. What i'll do is I'll park the bike in a shady place within my apartment premises so that the extremely hot engine will become warmer in less than 1 hr. Do this while the engine is in warm bcoz the oil inside will be thin due to heat from the engine. This helps in removing the entire oil without any residual. Take a pan or plastic tray & keep it underneath the drain plug, take 14mm ring sized spanner & unscrew the drain plug till it comes out fully. Wait till the entire oil drains out from the engine. I used to shake the bike to my left & right so that the remaining oil comes out. Then unscrew the oil filter cap with T shaped 8mm spanner & replace the oil filter, align the oil filter cap & tight the 8mm bolt to extent. Remove the oil filler cap & pour the engine oil on the hole & check the level of the oil on the oil level gauge, I recommend maintain the oil level slightly more than middle but not till Full. Once everything is over just start the bike & run the bike for 2 or 3 mins then shut it down & wait for 3- 5 mins release the main stand and hold the bike straight for the checking the exact oil level.
                Just follow my shadow.

                    • Going to buy myself a Gixxer!

Hello everybody! A new member here and I have gone through almost all the 500 odd pages in this thread to get the overall opinion/review of Suzuki Gixxer. I'm planning on buying Gixxer Black on March 1st week. I'm from Madurai, Tamil Nadu. The on road price listed on Suzuki's website shows Rs.87,613 and when I went to Arunachal Motors and asked for the price, they quoted me Rs.90,620. There is a 3k difference. So I want to know if this difference is normal, or do I have to send a mail to Suzuki regarding this. And the break up of the price is:

                      Gixxer showroom - 78,961
                      Insurance - 2,257
                      Fitting for registration - 302
                      Road Tax - 6,727
                      Fuel, Registration & Handling - 1,323
                      Extended warranty/AMC/Accessories - 1,050

                      Total - 90,620

Okay Ji! And for the rear disk, I guess drum brake is enough for me and for my riding style. If I remember correctly, the rear disk costs 2k, so I would instead use that amount to get a good quality helmet. Anyways, thanks guys for the suggestion!
