Irrespective of the oil used, the vehicle speed will always be the same at any particular engine RPM unless the one changes the GR or sprockets or installs a wheel of different diameter. Of course synthetic oils will assist the motorcycle achieve higher speeds by letting the engine work at higher RPM. The mileage may also increase because of better lubrication properties of synthetic oils & not because they can make the vehicle attain same speeds at lower RPM compared to mineral or SS oils...
Mate...understand this...the engine is less strained at that particular rev...so while the stroke is returning back it makes a lot of difference in maintaining the power in that cycle...hence lesser revs...

Oil does not change the rpm for particular speed bro. It's almost like a single shaft when the clutch is operating normally. Oil can change rpm only if it let's the clutch slip, as in the case of using excessive friction reducers or additives. Else the clutch must be either bad or engaged while running to show varied rpms. Finally, air pressure in tyre can change rpm in relation to speed, though it's negligible.

Guys what is the mileage you get when you ride at 80 to 90 kmph?

I rode constantly at 80 to 90 kmph and I got 30 to 33 kmpl for the particular ride.

Is this value normal or less?

I think it's less.. Because when I maintain around 100 on highways,I get 40 or a little more... Haven't got less than that yet..

I don't know if the mileage will increase, not sure.... But yes,the sound of engine is pretty high at higher speeds... 😁 you can't expect the bike to be silent and smooth throughout can you?

You get 40 kmpl with cruising speed of 100 kmph..!![emoji33]

                    Great!!

Today when my friend tried to get off the bike from the back seat, the indicator's transparent plastic case fell down. It was not broken or cracked. Looks like it wasn't glued properly :\

Set the idle to 1200 when you start the bike in the morning.also was the mileage dropped after u gave the bike for service

Actually you have messed up the air/fuel screw not the rpm screw. Take the bike to svc and ask them to tune the carburetor.

Cruising speed of 100 is like Icing on the cake..

Btw when is the Rev Limited Kicking in Gixxer ?

Also what is the Sprocket combination of Gixxer ? I have heard it has lot of Torque Lower down the revvs, In that case I will try and Put Bigger GB Sprocket for more Relaxed cruising.

                              Thanks

Since the speedo sensor measures the speed at the front sprocket, you might not be able to see the difference in the display even if you go physically faster than other Gixxers at the same RPM.

And yes, at higher speeds the wind resistance will be higher than normal so you might end up stressing your bike more as the torque will be low due to change in gear ratio.

Anyways, its my opinion. Expers are welcome for rectification.
The sense of freedom these two wheels give can never be matched by anything else...

I myself changing the oil for my naked gixxer. I used buy oil & oil filter from Silver-star Suzuki - Jafferkhanpet then i'll plan one weekend for oil change. This is the 5th time i'm doing the oil change. Just try once. But keep the cash bill for your reference.
