Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
I removed the rear guard as Suzuki advertised in their posters.. Even the dealer demo girl told it can be removed anytime.. But mud is splitting on the back.. Any solutions?Originally posted by srinath2494 View Postfirst step to know the bike better - read the user manual before taking out the bike lol

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Thank you people for breaking the myth. 😊
One more question, I have a very lean and super slim person to sit at the back.
And I myself is just 70 odd Kgs, being 6'2. Would the pillion be having an uncomfortable ride that she cant even tolerate, say, a 30 mins ride?
And regarding the different seat heights for pillion, the pillion is just 5'2 and I am six foot as I said...
Shouldn't that be compesated and shouldn't we both be looking to be seated on same level on the gixxer?
Must be a wierd question 😜, but still, would be glad if you could asnwer me. 😊

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Well I got my gixxer at a time when I was facing a lot of health problems. That included a weight loss of 10 kg from which I haven't recovered yet. I was bedridden at times and very weak.Originally posted by hisham2k9 View PostThank you people for breaking the myth.

Trust me it won't be a matter. I am now just 60kg and a 6 footer as well. It's very comfortable and so light to handle.
And I have had a lady pillion just around 5"3 or 5"4 and of petite stature. It will be very comfortable even after 1 hour.
So if that's your girlfriend you're worried about, then just go ahead get this bike and you'll enjoy it as a couple :P
the seat height is always high and even if a kid is sitting on the pillion seat, it will still look abnormally higher than what's common.

You can be better at being sarcastic too.
Doesn't sound nice. Not even a bit. Well this is just letting you and others know. Wouldn't take any of such comments and reply to them hereafter.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Thank you for the prompt reply. I am seriously rethinking about the possibilities right now, I had fixed my mind on Hornet. And now with even apache coming at a mouthwatering price. I am left with quite a few options. Thank you once again.Originally posted by srinath2494 View PostWell I got my gixxer at a time when I was facing a lot of health problems. Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
You can go for apache 200 4v. But whatever thats come out about it is only first ride review.Originally posted by hisham2k9 View PostThank you for the prompt reply. And all of it say that its refined compared to previous generation and buzzes at the top end. Well I dont know to what extent the refinement has improved compared to previous generations but I will not go for tvs because of its inconsistent after sales service. Yes, they were bad. And I find tvs engines becoming rougher in long term. So you better wait for long term experiences before you buy it. They might have improved the bike this time.
Cheers mate.
