Don't worry, it's fine. It won't affect anything.
        Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Yes. Unless it's a big dent or scratch.

Thinking of changing stock engine oil as it is showing dip in perfomance... Any thoughts on following
                    1.Motul 7100 10W40
                    2. Shell FS advance ultra
                    3. Shell Ax7
                    4. or any other..
                    Any suggestions would greatly help...

All are good. Choose according to your running.

                        Hi Gixxer Owners,

I'm so fixed on Gixxer and I'm planning to buy a gixxer in couple of weeks (waiting for rear disc naked version to launch). I would like to know whether is Gixxer is good enough for occasional long rides.

Also, anything downsides I should know before buying Gixxer ?

                        Thanks for your time.

Currently I am running in motul 7100 10W40. Gear shifts are smooth, oil doesn't heats up quickly. I went for 250kms ride it was cool than stock oil and gear shifts became butter smooth after that. I have driven 150km nonstop at 90-100kmph both bike and oil were good.

I heard shell is more thick than motul so it won't be smooth in city traffic. Please check with the person using shell.

                          Thanks
                          Veera

Gixxer is on of the best bikes in its segment. It holds really well on long rides, you can cruise at 80-90kmph after that there will be more wind blast. If you are keen on long tours get sf it will give better protection. Check with other senior members. I felt bike is not planted after 90kmph.

Coming to downside. It used to scrap belly when driven over big speed breakers but you can learn how to ride over it without scrapping belly in due course if time.

                            Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I will go with naked gixxer as I don't intend to ride above 80 kmph. Just waiting for the rear disc version to launch.

Only problem is that Motul 7100 is not easily available nor is it cheap... which is why I was thinking of getting SS oil...
