Ajay, why don't you for a stock replacement air filter and a complete free flow exhaust, instead of going for an end can? You might get some performance boost and crisp sound.

Stick replacement of air filter with what.. What's the compete free flow??? It's all Greek and Latin for me..

He meant K&N stock replacement air filter. Specific for duke/RC. Also he was referring to a full exhaust system instead of just the end can. It would include a free flow exhaust plus pipes to the engine.

right, so if I use a "stock" K&N air filter, it will increase air flow. I know coz K&N will have bigger holes than the stock ones.. but doesn't that mean more dust allowing inside?
and full exhaust system vs end of the can?? so the ixil is just the tip?? not the whole system that connects till the engine??

Absolutely! Any air filter other than stock is detrimental for the engine. Same for exhaust. You can forget reliability or long engine life when opting for performance parts. IXIL is most probably just an end can.

Does that mean shorter engine life/less reliable engine?? please don't scare me.. if it does, I won't do any modifications coz my bike is the only one I got & I ride her daily to office, home and everywhere else..

To be frank, yes. I haven't seen a single bike cross 35k without some engine work after fitting aftermarket air filters, even if they are the so called stock replacement filters.
Exhausts do lesser damage compared to filters because they reduce the backpressure and the bike revs easily, but since that was not what the engine was designed for, it starts giving up slowly.

Simple thumb rule bro
Stock condition= no headache
Mods = headache if not done properly .. Plus with our road conditions and etc ..its better to stick with stock ..

These werer the scratches the bike had after the fall.. I headed for a Paint shop.. bought a can of Matte black spray.. and painted it

back to former glory !
and any solution or jugaad for fairing rattling? i guess d battery cover's at fault

Only loose nuts and they just need tightening.. That's all..

Did some stickering to my bike.. maybe not for everyone's liking.. just sharing it..

Yep those are the Stompgrip tank grip pads.. they are great.. also I padded up the seat for 1 inch.. it's a little easier on my butts..

Looks nice. The matt black gives the bike a more menacing look.

BTW, the stomp grip looks too inwards (centre of the tank). It might restrict your body from moving side to side while going into corners. Just a suggestion though.

..and the orange ring on the projector is really a killer. The swastika symbol, specially with the eagle looks more of a Nazi emblem.

How did you increase the padding on the seat? Even i want to do that? Does the extra padding help?

Nice job bud, take a top angle shot for the orange line running from visor to tank. Like everyone said, I'm sold for the orange ring over the projector, nice touch :thumbup:
