Clip-ons can generally be raised or lowered but the Clip-ons on the rc are sadly not adjustable!
One thing you can do is that if you use a backpack than hang it in the front of the chest and put most of your chest on the backpack. I have been doing this for quite som time now and it has made enormous difference to the amount of fatigue my hands go through!

What does it mean 8-13K? Do they reduce the number of stickers with the range you are paying? Anyone tried it? I have seen in RC 390 thread, but I really like to decals of RC 200. BTW are you planning to do it, if yes from which showroom in Bangalore?

Thanks... But could you provide any specifics? Personally I don't see why clip ons can't be adjusted

In KTM RC, you need to change the tree clamp, since the clipons are attached to it. There is someone in RC 390 thread doing the upgrade with Duke tree clamp setup but got stuck due to SVC delays. Get in touch with ammaity, he will give you better specifics.

Well, the bike is supposed to be like that.. It's a sportster.. Not a street bike.. You might as well go for the Duke.. I don't mean to be rude.. But just my 2 cents..

Yesterday, I had put some hard hours (3 hours) washing the bike. It was painful, but bringing it to the real glory gave me a big grin at the end. A complete cleaning of chain, wheels, underbody, mono-shocks and other small gaps. This orange wheel is one great mess, it gets black easily and to turn it back to orange is really hard. Guys is there a easy way to clean the wheels, I use Pril dishwashing liquid to clean the black sprays from the chain all over the wheel.

Finally with the help of Owner's Manual, I had adjusted the chain myself. Perfect I must say, however the reference point to check whether both the sides are adjusted correctly is bit confusing. Could somebody tell me how to make sure the adjustments are same at both the sides.

Still recovering from thighs pain and I love the pain when the muscles stretch .

Yup washing it is a major task! Use kerosene to clean the wheel.
Also can you show us briefly how you tightened the chain?

And finally one more step to prep the RC for my usual trips

ViaTerra Rapide. retails for around 2900 inr.
mounting needs a bit of work the first time.
it seems to be held in place firmly and did not fall off during my ride back home .

That the first time i get to see someone find a good fit for the saddle bags. Can you post some close-ups of the mounting at the tail end ?

Was giving my RC a thorough wash today when i noticed that in one month of monsoon the chain has started to show rusting on the outer surface. Wasn't expecting it so soon. Unless one has a basement parking, this rusting issue will be a headache for the following few months.

Just followed the exact same steps provided in the Manual. Next time I will make a video, so that you may understand it better.
