Is it possible to fit bar end weights to the RC200 handle bars? I've got aftermarket ones but I really want the ones which are available in the RC390. However I was told to change the entire handle bar for that. This is what I have currently.

Bar end weights need a nut welded inside the handle bar, so you could put the bar end weights and tighten it with a bolt. RC 200 doesn't have this. However, TVS Apache 180 has a different mechanism, which would expand inside the handle bar when you tighten the bolt, for this you don't need to weld or change the complete handle bar.

I'm still trying to find Apache bar end weights.

The apache mechanism is the same thing used in the bar end weights which I've installed currently. Let me also try finding the apache bar end weights.

Good! Check an Apache, the weights looks good in terms of handling the vibrations.

Now that your current bar ends are similar to that of apache's do you actually find any reduction in vibrations? if you do, I'll pick a pair as well, if there's no difference, I might as well go with changing the whole set as the mechanic here also states the same thing, that the whole setup needs to be changed.

I'm wondering why, basic bikes like Pulsars have bar end weights that cost less than half and KTM costs almost 2 lakhs & we don't get bar end weights.. this is really cheap of KTM/Bajaj in terms of cost cutting or cutting corners.. really?? makes me feel disgust of KTM & Bajaj..

I've got a weird problem in my rc200 or could be i'm over thinking.. but here it is
As I apply front brakes, there is a slightly wobbly feeling from the front end, I can't understand what's causing it. It's like one fork compresses but the other lags ? Idk something's not right. And this started happening since past few days only, I had given my bike to a cousin for a few rounds around his sector and this feeling came up right after that.
Bike goes absolute straight and steady if I leave handlebars at any given speed, the feeling when flicking the bike around or doing zigzag is proper. Alloys and the tire pressure is fine. Everything is fine infact, except the feeling under braking. Any ideas ?

Tvs bar end weights were around 300 bucks a piece, had replaced one when i had my RTR(do check the pipe dia before buying though), anyways found a lever guard with weights with the same tightening mechanism at a local shop as well as the service center , dunno how strong that is yet might give it a try soon.

If everything is fine only thing left will be to tighten the clamp where forks are attached to its required torque specs and then check.

From the picture he posted, the bar end weight looks like a visual upgrade with no actual use. Sorry buddy no offence, I just felt like that from the photo. But Apache's are real weights designed for the true purpose.

One of the Team-Bhp member have used bar end weights of Apache on his Duke and it looks neat!

Yes there is a reduction in vibration as compared to before. However the ones I have will not offer any protection to the handle bar in case of a fall since they are very short. Hence I am looking for slightly longer bar end weights. It is really ridiculous that it doesn't come stock on the bike. I am also looking at the ones which provide protection for the levers as well. I'm not sure as to how those are fixed hence I didn't get those.

Check the wheels for alignment, check brake disc for any bends.

alignment should be fine as i mentioned bike is rocksteady n straight if the handlbars are left at any given speed. I'll check for disc bends, it's not easy to do this verification at home due to the lack of paddock stands. It's just a month old bike btw.
