    Guys...
    Another issue!

Today the Manager from SVC called and said that, you are getting and new chassy, so you should change the chassis number to the new one on the RC BOOK!

For this again I have to spent money on some process done by RTO.

What I have heard is, the old chassy number is printed on to the new chassy and the number on the old chassy will be SCRUBBED OFF and discarded.

    What should I do?

No. The engine or nothing needs to be removed for the slight glass replacement. It's a 10 min job. Skilled mechs change it even faster, all there is a circlip an oil seal and the glass itself.

            Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
            The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

            THE END

So I'm having startup problem as well. Bike cold starts just fine. Problem is when it's warmed up or something. Coolant level is well within the range of min n max. Petrol is of good quality. Not sure why this happens. At times if I just turn the keys and wait for about a minute and then crank it starts up (I usually wait till the fi sound is done. N then crank it )

In mine case they changed the chasis, and the new chasis was without any number printed on it, and then they told me to get the chasis number scribbled on it.

Almost done with the procedures, here the SVC is doing in the right way legally.

They told me to get the permission from RTO that you are printing the old chassy number to a new chassy.
Should pay ₹200 in motor vehicle dept.

The thing is, when we print the number, it won't be in the Same exact position as it was, and there is fixed distance (mm) between each digit/alphabet, this is why Svc asked me to get the permission.

Actually the company should punch the chassis number of your ride from the factory itself when they get an order and not the SVC , please double confirm if SVC is right and they are doing it in a legal way.

No, the company is not punching it, its being done by the SVC.

I asked few 220 and 180 owners they didn't do anything with RTO, they said that the SVC punched the number on a lathe.

Is it true that the company prints the number?
Whom ever I aksed they said,Company sends a chassy without any number.

Is it not starting in one crank or turning off?

It doesn't start in one crank. But it happens rarely. Happened 2out of 15-20 starts ..
Yeah man weird. Exactly the same problem that you were having. After I wait for a minute and then crank it starts ! At weirdly even when I put bike in neutral and start at times it goes into the gear and stalls! Happened just once though. Could be a faulty neutral indication and stand sensor error.

Has anybody ever reset the ECU here?

In first few pages of this thread I remember someone posted how to do that, although I don't know what it does so I'm a little hesitant to try it.

Does anyone know what resetting the ECU does?
