7100 is fully synthetic and would not degrade with time so you can safely use it. Also oil does not decompose in crank case as its air tight. However i recommend go to any service station and get general service done including cleaning of air filters as many svc tend to avoid it.

Hi guys,
I have a red AS200 bought in june 2015. Had done around 5800km till may 2016 when i had my third service with Bajaj DTSI 10000 oil change. Till june 2016 i had done around 7000km and changed oil to Motul 7100. Suddenly after that i got transferred and bike usage completely stopped. Since that take it out for a short 10-15km ride every 15-20 days. so bike has done only around 500km in the last year.
Oil change is recommended after every 5000km or 1 year, i have done only ~500km but time lapsed has been just over a year.
Does engine oil degrade with time? Do i need to get the oil changed?
Its been two years since i purchased the bike, so things like coolant etc also need to be changed?
Can a roadside mechanic do this or is it better to go to a bajaj service centre for this?
Have tried Nitya motors solan, Pratap bajaj panchkula, pratap bajaj chandigarh, but never been very impressed with the quality of work.
Anyone know of a good FNG or SVC in chandigarh/Panchkula ?Leave a comment:

Bets option for 130/70 rear tyre change would be Michelin street radial r17 130/70. Cost is little more than the mrfs but, no compromise on dry or wet grip. Tyre life is also long of about 20k to 30k based on your riding style..Originally posted by nizamsm View Post

Zapper S came stock with mine. Haven't used anything else. Never felt lack of grip in dry. Wet grip is good. Only 1 puncture in 17k km. Still going good. Then again I don't corner or use rear brakesOriginally posted by nizamsm View PostLeave a comment:

Hi guys,
Need some suggestion over tyre change.. Ive done about 30k on stock Euroslips [emoji14] and now it feels like I am riding a jet ski during rains.. asked a local dealer and he has the following:
Rear tyre options
Mrf zapper s
Mrf zapper q
Ceat zoom xl
ATT 302 (i believe this is a tvs tyre)
Usage: city commutes for weekdays and touring on weekends (usually)
Could anyone who have used the above tyres please review the grip levels (dry / wet), life of tyre and if it is puncture prone?Leave a comment:

Checked already. No cracks in the rim. Checked tyre as well. No visible damage. Will check tyre pressure tomorrow. No sounds. Discs are fine (checked by placing a pen and spinning the wheel) No issues with handling. Apart from crushed balls and sagged ride height no other issues as of now. Ghusaoed the front wheel in a huge pot hole today. Half the wheel went in. Huge thud. Since then the ride height is low. Recently had the forks aligned. Luckily didn't notice alignment issues. Ride height has lowered. What needs to be done to fix it?Leave a comment:
