            Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155

I've already decided to buy the full fairing part only once it reaches my scv. My gixxy is white but I'll buy blue full fairing & paint it with white.
            Just follow my shadow.

Can any one tell If the bottom engine plastic cover(just like the Apache one) can be installed to my naked gixxer as installing the whole faring is out of my budget so i would be happy with the bottom engine faring

Dammnn that girl look goodddddd This is what I've been waiting for!

Now for my long list of queries

                1. How is the stability in crosswinds?

                2. Is the fairing helpful in avoiding wind blast?

                3. Does the new clamp on handlebar really make a difference? (I couldn't conclude if it was the only reason)

                4. How is it to manage in jam packed city traffic?

                5. Does the engine feel stressed cruising at 90-100kmph speeds for prolonged time?

                6. If you had ridden the gixxer before, how is the overall stability compared to it? I found this giving me a very big bike feel on my test ride for a short distance.

And yes, this is so awesome to ogle at

AAANNDD more and more pics pls :P

Thanks mate. I'll try to answer a few of your questions. Its just been a few days a few hundred kms. I'm still getting to know her better

                  1) I feel it has good stability in crosswinds. My own weight might help me here 'cos I'm close to a ton.

                  2) In normal riding position and speeds the fairing doesn't make much difference. If you ride in a crouched position at higher speeds it will definitely help.

                  3) Not sure about this.

                  4) In city traffic it is very flickable. The mirrors are mounted on the front fairing so i'm being a little careful before getting in and out of a tight spot. I guess i'll be able to ride it just like the naked version once i put on some kms.

                  5) Its just been a few days and I'm still running in the bike. So i have not take her to speeds more than 55 kmph. I'm trying to do this till 1.5k - 2k but i don't know if i'll be able to do that . It surely has the potential to do 80-90 kms easily.

                  6) I have ridden the gixxer before. Stability at slower speeds is the same but i suppose the front fairing and a little more weight should improve high speed stability.

I'm definitely enjoying the attention she gets on the road

                  ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

Posting a few more pics of my Gixxer SF. This thread has help me a lot to choose this beauty.

Are the rear view mirrors foldable? Like how it can folded inwards towards the windshield as in any other faired bike.

Hi, friend. Me too from Kerala. Congrtaz on ur new purchase! The website quotes the price as 94885 onroad, including mirrorset and sarry guard. So what is the extra 3k for? And can u comment on the mileage u got so far?

I forgot to check that out during my short ride! Anyway you own a gixxer naked ride? How is this sf different from that after riding the two gixxers back to back?

They say Gixxer-SF can touch 125 km/hr true top-speed, 155cc carburetted motorcycle with full faring !!!
