Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Give it a week, I faced the exact same issue when I changed my tyres, it took few hundred kms to settle in and once it did , it was bliss, and I'm on motul 300v since may , my oil change interval is 2500-3500 kms, bikes is still fine at almost 5000 since the last oil change, but I think it's more ideal during the summer.Originally posted by Sarvajit View PostGot the Michelin Pilot Street tyres and Motul 300V oil changed for my R3 and got general servicing (chain lubing and cleaning) done too.
Handle feels heavy and front tyre is not stable on corners but I hope it will settle down soon as the tyres are new.

Hi Arv, Did you get a chance to see the presence of ABS badge or rings on either of the bikes?Originally posted by arvstreetracer View PostI am carrying my camera for last 2 days to get better pics while going to office via same route, but still unlucky to spot them.
Hope to see them soon again.
Same guys were testing FZ25 a month before its launch and I was lucky enough at that time and shot few clips.

Frankly speaking I forgot to emphasize my focus on those ABS rings in excitement.. I think it wasn't there, but not 100% sure.Originally posted by Rock's View PostHi Arv, Did you get a chance to see the presence of ABS badge or rings on either of the bikes?-----

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Those are temporary plates. UP 16 TC ... TC stands for temporary registration. Even the FZ25 which were being tested before its launch were having same white plates with TC numbers.Originally posted by Razrman View PostHow come they have white plates? Don’t test vehicles have some different plates?-----

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Benellis have poor after sale value, similar to the kwackers, also cost of parts are too high and service intervals of 4000kms is a bit low.Originally posted by Chennai Karthick View PostHi friends, how are you all? Posting after a looooong time. I have did 11k kms on my bike. Changed my stock tyres to Michelins. Rear is 150/70 now. Planning to sell my benelli 300 but no takers 😢😢.

R3 is a very capable tourer, many people keep questioning is the r3 as committed as the r15 then have to correct them and say it's a sport touring position, should pretty comfortable for long rides, I'd say with the r3 you have more than enough power for the highways, it's capable of cruising at 140-160 ish.Originally posted by Surya227 View Posthello everyone! iam verymuch inclined towards yzfr3 ...my foremost necessity is long rides! how good is R3 for long rides? currently I own 150cc bike and I dont think its wise decision to opt for a 600cc one! isn't it?

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Yes, boss, the R3 can do 300 kms at one go. Even a splendor can do 300-700 kms in one go if you keep the speed at 65-75.Originally posted by Surya227 View Postyeah i had test driven it and its one such a fab! butter smooth handling! but to travel for about 300 odd km in a single go, can R3 fit the purpose?
