Yamaha would take their own sweet time to relaunch it. And is it new for yamaha ? I guess all Japanese manufacturers behave like this only.

Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Do little bit more research buddy, it was stopped in India due to emission norms. Sales was just twice of N300.Originally posted by Akash.Yadav View Post

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Both reasons are equally applicable, its very unlikely that you will find an owner who purchased the R3 impulsively. Generally these guys would be knowledgeable..they know what they are getting into... and also they would be forgiving of the minor niggles, which in any case most of the bikes have. So there will be few (or none) owners who are selling the bike because they don't like the bike........and at the same time its a costly and relatively new bike..so fewer bikers selling because they want to upgrade to a bigger bike.Originally posted by Akash.Yadav View Post..... 2 reasons - owners are so happy with the bike that they will never part ways with it or there have been so horrible sales that most probably no R3 could be seen here.......
And there are so few of them on the road...I have been riding for around one and half years now...and I can count on my fingers the number of times i have seen a fellow R3 rider.--------------------------------------------

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Last time I researched, Ninja is still selling with a BS4 compliant engine. As I said, unless there was not a wave load of response for R3, I don't understand why Yamaha would want to stop a high demand bike from their portfolio. Double the sales means it should have prepared for the BS4 move.Originally posted by Chandan92 View PostDo little bit more research buddy, it was stopped due in India due to emission norms. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place. It will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
R3 is coming back in a few months, November to be specific. Saw an article on bike advice confirming the relaunch from the Yamaha india top guy himself.
Apparently, the R3 which is sourced from Thailand does not comply with BS4, so the change has to happen there for it to be brought here and sold.
But no word on ABS though.

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
As they have launched Fazer250, R25 is not gonna come any sooner! Every company has their part in 300-400cc range! so yamaha wouldnt discontinue R3!

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Yamaha has plans to relaunch the updated R3 in India. The bike was discontinued as it didn't meet the needed BS-IV emission norms.
There is one here too. But as said everything is still very hazy, no concrete dates shared yet.

What a moron!! No respect for the machine, no respect for his girl friend. Just riding like a squid. This is the reason why those rental guys are not able to maintain their vehicles in good shape and customers like us blame those rental guys. Let me forward this video to all the rental firms in Bangalore.Originally posted by Gollum View Post
