Guessing, even I believe. But he may have some unofficial news. Because I checked multiple times before this and he maintained that he had no idea about the launch.Originally posted by Finney View Post

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I dont blame those companies but the market in India is very different! people will shed lakhs to purchase gold! When I said 4 laks for a bike, my dad replied," Go get an Alto800". Even though R3 has been successful throughout the world, number of units it sold in India is comparitivly low! We think thrice to shed those extra 30k for ABS!Originally posted by hypheni View PostI would love to see the lovely R3 with ABS. I really don't understand while Honda came up with ABS long back in 2011, why other manufacturers like Yamaha and Suzuki still lacking in that department even after long 6 years. It's a real shame to these brands.

True. But most of the enthusiast would not bother additional 30k for safety. Yes ABS should not be mandatory, rather it should provide as option, just like CBR. Anyways I already gave up hopes for these companies and all the rumors of all the bikes getting ABS by 2019 is a joke to me.Originally posted by Surya227 View PostI dont blame those companies but the market in India is very different! people will shed lakhs to purchase gold! ABS should come as an option! But I'm not sure that ABS is a life saver in our country roads! A lot has to be changed! But recently the 300 segment is rushing! new launches! Atleast yamaha launches upgraded R3 but not R25Originally posted by hypheni View PostTrue. But most of the enthusiast would not bother additional 30k for safety. Fully agree. If a bike enthusiast can spend 4L for a bike, why not extra 20-30k for ABS.Originally posted by hypheni View PostTrue. Am sure 99% of them will get it.

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hey guys,
Recently, I noticed at some occasion was unable to engage gear, downshifting to either 2nd or 1st at speed of 10-20kmph. Also while riding for a while the downshift results in a rather noticable "clunk".
I had completed 2nd service and all the two recalls done.
Is it normal? I'm bit worried.

Loosen the clutch cable a little bit, say 0.5-0.75 turns as shown, it will be fine. Use 5 Rupee coin or Plier to loose it.Originally posted by pulsarcraz View PostHey guys,

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Yes but the question can be easily answerable in this thread as most of the r3 owners own that sized tyre or maybe the same model.Originally posted by Chandan92 View PostI guess wrong thread.
P.S
I have also posted this on the related forum. I think its not a wrong move to participate in other threads as well. No offense intended bro.
Cheers

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
R3 and R15 uses different speed rating tyres, S in R15 and H in R3. So, according to me tyre pressure will also vary.Originally posted by Maverick_BOSS View PostYes but the question can be easily answerable in this thread as http://r.tapatalk.com/byo?rid=72935]xBhp.com mobile app[/URL]

Yes. For Michelin pilot street it is 66H and mention as 41psi while cold. Does that mean I should maintain the same?Originally posted by Chandan92 View PostR3 and R15 uses different speed rating tyres, S in R15 and H in R3. So, according to me tyre pressure will also vary.

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Thanks. Got R15 it is 62H which should have 32psi recommended by yamaha. I assume the pressure should be more than 32 for an upsized tyre, isn't it?Originally posted by Chandan92 View PostI have no idea what pressure we have to keep on R15 with Michelin pilot street radials.
