Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Personally I don't prefer second hand vehicle (car or two wheeler) unless my financial situation is in doldrums...but yes as far as engine longevity is concerned 2nd hand shouldn't be a problem...make sure you ride the bike and get it checked by a good mechanic...happy riding!Originally posted by nnagap72 View Post

Agreed to every words. However, a company needs to sell to survive, and overall, Dominar 400 is reflecting a better proposition, which will definitely reflect in sales volume.Originally posted by vishal2410 View PostClearly u have no experience with royal enfield service centers(ex himalyan owner)...:P
A bike is more about purpose than features...usd and led are great...but dont add to overall usability of the bike..
Think ppl who buy mojo are more for the reliability and usabilty..than downright features on features...
40 ps is great ..what if that translates to abt 18-20 kmpl mileage in city......and becomes unmanageable in the city...
just saying...its more of a need to acheive the right balance than more feaures...Yamaha SZ16R: 2011 - Present.

The longevity of the brand does concern me too....but current the SVC in bangalore and the bikes overall quality ...i cant find an alternative...Originally posted by sayanchakraborty89 View PostAgreed to every words. Dominor is an alternative if u plan to just stick to the highway and empty roads
...feel gixxer 250 is a far better bike...
Also a comforting thought is the size of the mojo tribe ...and ppl sticking to the bike even after many years...

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Dear All,
Hello..
Firstly I am planning to buy a Mahindra Mojo XT 300 barnd new.. Bt as there is non available now with dual silencer and whatever is available is registered in Mahindra Company's name.. In Bengal, there is problem with RC transfer.. So dropped the idea of taking a Company registered bike also.. Bt after searching I got hold of a 2016 model XT 300 red and white.. which i am planning to buy in a few days.. Guys it will be of great help if anyone can advice regarding what areas to check prior taking a second hand mojo. As i already saw that the bike is starting after trying for 6 or 7 times.. Also the front or rear disk is jamming as it was quite hard to move the bike.
Thanks in advance.
Your early reply would be very helpful..

Mahindra is a very big brand and it will still survive if they have ZERO sales figure of MOJO . They aren't relying on MOJO Only , they have acquired a lot of companies . If they had any plan of pulling of MOJO from the market they wouldn't have launched MOJO ABS after an year . Cheers

True there might be many options in the market but when you ask for riding pleasure nothing comes closerOriginally posted by vishal2410 View PostThe longevity of the brand does concern me too....but current the SVC in bangalore and the bikes overall quality ...i cant find an alternative...

Whats the ODO reading for the REd&white you mentioned . If it was standing for long then there will be issue in starting and moving as the bike wasn;t use dand the battery is discharged . However if you are looking for 2nd hand good condition bikes there are many , you can connect with me will let you know the details.

So why do you think they have ZERO sales?Originally posted by vishal2410 View PostHmm...why wld a brand keep it alive if there is zero sales ??...i guess the life of the mojo depends on the sale of the new abs model!!!..
To sell your bike as a manufacturer:
1. You need to have showroom/service presence within every 10-15kms in big cities so that people can trust the after sales aspect. If I had to travel 200kms to service the bike I'd rather buy something KTM/Bajaj/Honda to have peace of mind where showroom will be less than maximum 20-25kms reach.
2. Buyer should be made aware that their is a bike called Mojo in the market, for which they should do marketing. Which Mahindra have done ZERO
3. No one trusting Mahindra with 2 wheelers, they have discontinued all their 2 wheelers except Mojo. Centuro, Pantero, Duro, Rodeo, Gusto, XT300, UT300 all were discontinued in less than 3-4 years. Now all those owners are banging head with spares issues and very less re-sale value. They expect people to buy a bike by spending 2L+ with such bad reputation and trust issues in the brand they have built up.
Now they have come up a hybrid bike of XT300 and UT300 calling it only as Mojo ABS.
So the life of the Mojo does not depend on the sales of ABS Mojo but it depends on how Mahindra is going to treat the bike, whether they are willing to market the bike, invest in after sales and support with more showroom reach and whether they want to build the brand value and trust again.Last edited by kiran2508; 08-23-2019, 11:28 AM.Bajaj SuperFE 150 - Forever in my heart

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
There is a misconception here..though bajaj and honda service centers are everywhere...only few specific outlets service their premium bike...if u take cb300r for instance its just one in bangalore....Originally posted by kiran2508 View PostSo why do you think they have ZERO sales?

Personally...its not how many Sc thats important...its how responsive the SC's are that matters...
As for marketing the mojo..thats upto mahindra...do they want to play mass market or niche...
the real icing for any new prospoect mojo owners would be if the JAWA showrooms also sold mojo's...which i dont think wld happen...
Personally for me....i wld buy the bike just coz of its reliability...i have ridden a lot on that bike(rented)
And one more interesting perspective would be...EV vehicles would make mainstream say in a 3-4 yrs time...soo i guess..this issue of continuation is to all manufacturers...

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Sales are not just imperative of company rather the entire ecosystem - dealer/ service centers / riding community which holds equal accountability.
My recent approach to Mojo dealers in NCR (Delhi and Gurgaon) is & has not been confidence inspiring. They are simply are not interested to engage and sell this beautiful machine to a potential customer. So is the case with CBR 250R which is gem of product but my calls to dealers gave stunning poor experience to a extend the sales person over phone told me "Until you book, we will not give you test ride because we don't stock this motorcycle. If there is any defect, we will replace". While dealers are not the only accountable group in value chain, I'm assuming demand/sale figures are not keeping them motivated.
At end of the day it is sad for the riding community to see some good product being put on ventilator and awaiting for company to pull the plug and keep it in its history book for next generation riders to read about it and not see it in real world.
