You can have a look at earlier posts, Tanay and others in Blore had been for a 600kms "long" ride on a day (solo). If thats what you mean by "long'. Build quality wise its fantastic. Vibrations are far less compared to the duke(if at all you are comparing with the 390).

I personally do not own a Mojo yet- looking into workarounds that can be done for the pillion rider before making a decision. I have taken the bike for a long test ride (around 50 kms from my home) and i am pretty happy with the machine. Although i am yet to see a confirmation on exhaust pipes touching the road on a high hill ( i am yet to experience this myself since i didnt get the opportunity yet to take it to a hill)

I can help you with that as well, the side stand and the exhaust shield bracket on the right side touch on high leans to the left and right respectively. But they touch on a rather high degree of lean. On the Yercaud ride the riders had thin chicken strips of ~ 1.5 - 2 cm on each side left on the rear tyre and no hard parts were scraping.

Also regarding reliability yes its holding up great so far I think its going to be a solid bike that will last. One guy in Bangalore has completed 10K.

I am from Hyderabad. I am very much interested in Mahindra Mojo from the first day I have seen it. I have followed up with my local dealer and came to know that the bike would be available in Hyderabad in a couple of weeks from now. I have gone through many reviews and found that everything is good but the bike has a little negative feedback on brakes. I was looking for Mojo with ABS. I have read at several places that the Mojo ABS version will be available from April 2016, I want to know how far that information is correct. Does anyone know when the Mojo ABS version would be released so that I could wait out if it's going to be released in April or so.

          Thanks in advance.
I've been getting the 'couple of weeks' response from December :-P

I don't think the feed back was negative ... due to the long travel it's feedback is low. This will take a little getting used to and that's all. ABS will not improve braking by any means ... its more of an aid in panic braking. For an experienced ride lack of ABS will not even matter. And it will add 20K to the price :-( which not make it such a fantastic VFM product.

I'm more of inclined towards the colors they showcased ... that yellow and black looked delicious.
When I'm on the road, I'm indestructible. No one can stop me... but they try.

I have complete 2100 km in mojo so far, overall I'm. Happy with my purchase have done couple of small tours 100 plus kilometers without any issues, can easily cruise over 110 km without any stress .

listing out total expenses till now and issues faced
mileage : 20 km without db killer.. got 18 once, 25 with one db killer removed, 29 with both db killer on (tested via tank full method)

            expenses till now :
            servicing cost ~ 1500 rs
diskpad rear was worn out after 1800 km: 1,256 rs.
need to replace rear disk plate : cost unknown.

            Issue faced :
Engine knocking issue, was fixed in first service by replacing fuel pump.
Disk plate wear out too early/rusted , figuring out what can be done.
bike can easily fall in uneven / muddy surface due to fall from stand still drl socket is broken (replacement cost 1400) , issue will be fixed after guards are available.

Other experience riders can give you more information about the bike..

              Those are some poor figures.
Both in terms of fuel consumption and brake pads/rotor life.
              Where do you ride buddy?

Are you sure you didn't get a test ride bike?

But the figures you posted above are apalling. Bangalore riders get ~28-29 kmpl on the highways with roughly 600 km tank range.
And brake pads going off in 1800 km means bad riding style. Rotors last many a thousand km too.

yup Sharan without removing db killer I am also getting around 29 kmpl as mentioned earlier.
I tend to brake hard, but haven't faced any issue with my disk plate on my Yamaha Frazer even after 50k km.

I would advice you press for warranty replacement of the rotor. The rotors on my bike are 87k km old and working fine.

                          Hi Naveen,

Thanks for the information, that was interesting. I am planning to buy it in April. Hope it would be available by then.

Today I went to mahindra asc in chennai. On seeing Mojo service bay, I enquired about its launch. I was told that it is already launched in Chennai and available in Tharamani (yuvan motors) and Arumbakkam showroom. No updates in Mahindra website though. Anyone got to test drive in Chennai?

Check the amount of petrol consumed and that should be a better estimate of the fuel efficiency. I am getting around 27 - 28 in the city (I don't ride this in the city unless it is unavoidable) and highway is around 35.

If you are getting 21 kmpl accurate, do you ride in heavy traffic? A few people in Bangalore also reported similar figures but they commute in bumper-to-bumper traffic.
I am getting 27 now with some controlled throtling. Happy with it. Thank you!
