It's not due to high bhp it's due to the higher combustion temperature. Which will reduce when the bike gets older

And on to that, don't use extra premium or those additives . it basically increases combustion rate which we don't need until the engine is nicely tuned till 6k or 10k km
Are you talking about Engine knocking or a snatchy fuelling on the bike below 3000rpm ?

Anyone fitting these baby's with projectors or will that void the warranty?

Engine knocks only when the rpm is less compared to speed.
Wait for tanay for his response.he can confirm if its normal in case of mojo.
BTW what gear and rpm are you in when knocking

On a lighter note, the Mojo seems quite agitated to see that small earbud littered when it got its first photo op, clearly the mood is not right for Mr. Mojo.

Congrats!

Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

THE END

This engine is oversquare, borexstroke is 76x65. So it is not a log stroke engine, although the stroke may be 'long' when viewed standalone
I don't think I have faced engine knocking if the bike is in the appropriate gear, which happens to be 1-3 in traffic. But yes too high a gear and any bike will knock, no?
The fuelling upto say 4K definitely needs refinement as the bike lurches forward then stops, basically jerky movement, not to be confused with knocking.

In other news I am now in Delhi and the bike is yet to reach me. xplod566 you decided on what bike? Sorry we could not meet, I flew out of Bangalore same day, no free time

It's a matter of getting used to I think. I had the problem when I started riding the bike, now its gone because I got to know its behaviour and adjusted the riding style.

Hi guys,

I am from Hyderabad. I am very much interested in Mahindra Mojo from the first day I have seen it. I have followed up with my local dealer and came to know that the bike would be available in Hyderabad in a couple of weeks from now. I have gone through many reviews and found that everything is good but the bike has a little negative feedback on brakes. I was looking for Mojo with ABS. I have read at several places that the Mojo ABS version will be available from April 2016, I want to know how far that information is correct. Does anyone know when the Mojo ABS version would be released so that I could wait out if it's going to be released in April or so.

Thanks in advance.

So far there is no concrete news about abs.however be noted that since this bike is heavy and has a different riding posture it does sometimes becomes challenging to ride in bumber to bumper traffic.
But if you can get used to it then this bike is just goldy
