Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
No buddy, did you miss the announcement? They held an event in front of the Cafe Coffee Day store at Jubilee hills between 5pm to 6pm. We reached there by 5pm, signed the acknowledgement form and took the Mojo for a spin. They had 2 bikes. Not many people came unfortunately. At max 4-5 people who took the test ride.Originally posted by Motomonster View PostWhich dealership? Are they giving test rides easily?
They will go back to the showrooms so you can visit the showroom and ask for a test ride I guess. I know one is at Bahadurpura, not sure where the other one will be. You can check on their website

They are more than eager to give you test rides ... There is one dealership in Bahadurpura and another near Patancheru past BHEL.Originally posted by Motomonster View PostWhich dealership? Are they giving test rides easily?
The bike was a bit different from what I'd imagined. The tank was not as wide nor was the view of the HL assembly as compared to the headlight itself, the pillion seat was only for people with ... tiny seats.
But the bike was great ... I took a TD at the showroom which is bang right on Old Bombay highway ... so got to ride the bike in that environment. I was hesitant to go over 5K as the bike had only 45kms on it ... but it still was good. Then I went to this little gathering at Cafe Coffee day.
They said they fixed the RVMs that I'd complained about but they still came loose... strange. This time the city TD ... the was driven by a whole set of people before me. It did tend to heat up a slight bit but was still bearable. It was taller as compared to my FZ
though not as light. It would still make a nice city bike.
Testing the braking was awesome fun on this one .... the rear brake is riot
OMGGG never had so much fun. And the sound was yeah good. But I think removing the baffles was not a good idea as you can feel the bike trying to breathe. The ride was jerky if you were in higher gear at lower speed.
The guys kept repeating that Mahindra had no plans of the ABS ... not sure if it is to get the first few bookings and dissuade the people who plan to wait for the ABS !!! And the colors displayed in EICMA were not going to make it to production lines :-(When I'm on the road, I'm indestructible. No one can stop me... but they try.

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hi,
Just took a test ride of mojo and Duke 390 back to back on weekend.
Really blown away with mojo's comfort but found it really hard to ride around. On Duke it was the other way round.
I tour a lot but compare to my current bike (Apache 1st gen) even the duke was pretty comfortable; mojo like a king size bed
My primary concern is the exhaust scraping and handling on mojo, while I don't always put my knee down I would love to hear if anyone has bent the bike around a corner.
Any person from Delhi who has some experience of taking mojo around twisties on mountains ?Last edited by Hemant Singh; 03-22-2016, 08:32 PM.Busy finding peace

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
I was wondering if anyone tried Mojo on hills yet? I am particularly interested in touring capabilities of the bike including rare off roading, if needed. I am not sure how soft compound pirelli will hold against rough terrains.
If RE can do ladakh trips, Mojo surely can. But I am still not sure about the tyres.
Please let me know...

Hi Hemant,
Same here. I am a proud Apache 1st gen owner (sold) and it was a great city bike, but not so great on tours. Touring on hills was fun though
Can't wait to hit the Himalyan Expressway and ride straight to Shimla as soon as I get my Mojo in April 1st week.
P.S. - I am from Chandigarh

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Sorry for hijacking the thread guys. I could not find any thread to post my test ride review of the mojo on xbhp. So doing it here. For people in Chennai, the showroom at Kattupakkam(Sri Vignesh Motors) has a test ride motorcycle now along with two display vehicles. The showroom mostly has young chaps but they are very attentive and friendly. Gave me timely updates on the display vehicle and test vehicle reaching the showroom. Excellent follow up. They informed me there is a limited time offer for first batch bookings. A riding jacket worth 10,000 will be offered is what I was told. No idea on what brand it is. Coming to the test ride part, I found the bike to be wonderful. Mind you my comparison is against my ZMA. I did find some niggles with the bike though. The first one and the BIG one is the the braking. Damn a 2003 designed ZMA has better brakes! The front was wooden and the rear was too sharp causing slipping on hard braking. Improvement needed in this area definitely. The second thing I found to be mildly annoying was the fuelling. There is a little delay between the twist and thrust. Could be better for a fuel injected motorcycle. I have the habit of rev matching while down shifting and I always found the rev matching never happened. Otherwise I found the bike to be perfect for touring. Coming to the positives. There is so much. I did a good 15kms test ride. Definitely a bigger bike in all ways compared to ZMA. After the test ride I found my ZMA had shrunk! The riding position was so much more comfy than on my ZMA. Those high raised handle bars are truly well positioned. I found the suspension to be excellent. Just glided over potholes in comparison to my ZMA which thuds and crashes on large potholes. Has decent if not explosive power. Very gradual and vibe free acceleration. Doesn't feel stressed even at high revs. The speedo was disconnected so did not know how much I did. I was hovering around 5-6k rpm mostly on 6th. Please let me know what speed I was doing. The DB killer was removed on the test vehicle. The bike simply sounds awesome turning all heads around (ahem ahem cops ahem ahem). The build quality is very good. I don't really care much about looks. As long as a vehicle is functionally designed well, I am game. Regardless it looks decent if not awkward as the pictures suggest. Red with white would be the colour for me any day eyes closed. Having said so much, I am not a going to be buying the MOJO. Took out my ZMA for a spin after the test ride. Did about 100-110kmph and I knew instantly ZMA to MOJO is not really that big of an upgrade. Especially for touring. Also I am worried about Mahindra's service network. Please do not take offence on my views as they are personal. I feel the Mojo would be proper upgrade from a 150cc bike maybe. Had I not bought my ZMA 4yrs back, and stuck to my KB100 to this day, MOJO would be the top contender for me.Tour De Thekkady
The Return of the KB
The Run-in Adventure
150cc doing 100+ is great!
100cc doing 100+ is awesome!!
150cc cornering like hell is great!
100cc cornering like hell is awesome!!
THAT'S WHY I RIDE A RTZ!!

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
How much its cost in delhi??? Where is it available .. I am from janakpuriOriginally posted by mukuluppal View PostNow we are somehow in a common group.
No tire hugger here yet. Neither any other accessory. Waiting for them desperately. :O
Even I agree to the fact that the front brakes are quite progressive. Maybe that is because of the extra weight of the bike already at the front. I am no engineer but maybe Mahindra did this to balance out the equation of braking by not giving the excess bite on the front brakes. But I personally feel they do feel extremely stable once you get a hang of it. It has different bite to the usual front discs on other bikes.
Congrats at 1k!
I have read that the Benelli also have a similar front brake response. Thanks for that data! :O How did you manage to get that.
So Peeps, I received my bike couple of days back too!
I love it and I am getting a lot of on road attention. A lot of queries about the brand and the price. Also a lot of comparison with Bullets once people know the price and then it becomes so off putting then I am just like meh.
One nice thing to realize here is that this bike is having the bullet riders have their curiosity grow too.
Anyways here are couple of pics from phone. May post better pics later.

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hi all! This is Ajay, a newbie here and a happy owner of a Mojo . The bike feels simply super smooth to ride. Its as heavy or light as the Enfields but due to the height of the bike, its a bit difficult to handle when its switched off or when you have to push it backwards.
The front brake as many say isn't sharp. But i found it to be an advantage of sorts. Never had any difficulty stopping the bike in time. You may use both brakes at once for quick braking.
I own a volcano red version and its simply stunning! The pics i found in my infinite online searches for the red Mojo were all of poor quality and the pics of the black one were of professional quality, which is misleading. The red white combo looks amazing in reality. I suggest you look at all the available color options before booking one.
The seat seems to be a little loose and this was the case in all the four bikes they had at the dealership where I purchased mine.
I'll keep you updated about my experiences with the bike and I'd be happy to answer any questions about the bike.
PS: I am from Hyderabad. I can not control myself from saying this, but I'm the first owner of a Mojo here in the twin cities
Happy riding!

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Okay so this is where I went on this long weekend:
Fuel efficiency while going from Delhi to Joshimath (200 Km highways in the plains, 300 Km hill climb) : 32.40 Km/l, calculated by the tank level method so fairly accurate.
Well I am from UP-Bihar but have spent most of my life in Rajasthan, stayed in many places like Mt. Abu, Udaipur, hometown = Jaipur currently.Originally posted by Retro View PostYou from Rajasthan?
I just took the stock tyres to Mana. Now, 70% of UK has excellent roads and these tyres are what we need. However, the remaining 30% is REAL bad. I should not have taken these tyres over that terrain but I did and I can tell you- no cuts or punctures at all. These tyres can take a beating but I will not recommend it, the next time I go on a similar trip I will replace the rear at least.Originally posted by Subhanshu Dadwal View PostI was wondering if anyone tried Mojo on hills yet? Up till Rudraprayag the roads are excellent. This is the extent of leans you can do without scraping anything -Originally posted by Hemant Singh View PostTell us about the mojo performance dude.
Faced any exhaust scrapping issues when leaning ??
