Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Yes exactly its not appropriate to compare these bikes. Shared the video just for the information in case if any of the new buyers are interested to know details among these three bikes.Originally posted by GhanashyamS View PostWrote a comment, the comparison is not correct.. As all the 3 motorcycles belong to different type and should only be compared with bikes which are there in their respective type. Thanks,

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
I think the whole comparison thing is just a phase our market will go through. Till a few years back, our market was primarily a price and CC/FE based market. People took all the bikes within a price range and took what what suited them the most. The whole category in didn't exist. The 220, R15, RTR 180 and et all were co.pare to each other when each were very different machines meant for different people.
I still remember a friend of mine who would always shame me for calling the 220 a tourer, he claimed it to be a sport bike. We are only now witnessing the whole category aspect and the magazines just reciprocate the needs of the mass.
Anyways, neither of the Dukes have any place in a comparison involving the Mojo, period. As for the chassis issue, if I am thinking about the same article as you guys are, I'd ignore it all together. There are obviously design decision that would result in performance reduction in one aspect to gain performance else where. Just get a TD and pick the bike that suits you best.
P.S I wouldn't even think about the Himalayan unless i do at least 60% off-roading. But all this is just my "opinion", the same as that editor.Must ride on!

Apples are only to be always compared with Apples if and only if apples be the only option you are willing to consider and consume as fruit ....
Winesap and Idared might be a good comparision ... what if I want to chose from Apple, Pear, Quince, Loquat, Peach, Cherry or Jujube and need to know which one is better for poaching.
Food for thought .....When I'm on the road, I'm indestructible. No one can stop me... but they try.

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Correct! Just because engine specs have similar/nearby figures, does not mean one should jump into comparison.
All 3 bikes are for different purposes and the all 3 perform better in their own natural habitat. There is no point in putting comparison and declaring winner unless there is a true competition.
As far as chassis issue is concerned, I guess just few test rides, long term ownership reviews would answer better than any expert comment. Riders on this forum are all grown up and can take wise decisions.Sometimes it takes tankfull of fuel before you can think wise

Not only Sharath, but many other owners also have got Knuckle guards installed. You will get all the info you need once you get your Mojo and join the tribe. Folks have done a lot of MODs till now, all details are available with the tribe folks who are very friendly. Anyway hope to see you soon in the tribe!
OT:
In a fierce battle between Mojo vs Truck, Mojo came out victorious. More details here : https://www.rushlane.com/mahindra-mo...-12195214.html
And then there are bikes whose rims, forks etc break on small impacts. Sigh.

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hello Seniors.
Yesterday i went with my frnd to test ride Bullet. And then, we happened to pass by Mahindra Showroom. I took test drive of Mojo. I will describe my driving experience later, first of all, i would describe my experience at the showroom. The showroom guys were very friendly and helping. When i went for CBR 250 ride, the test drive was very short ( still i have finalized cbr.. lol). In the case of Mojo, the showrooms guys told me to go for minimum 5km ride. That too alone. Wow. Also, they are giving free jackets for wvery purchase. The jacket is of good quality, approx price would be around 6-8k.
Now the ride...
When i turned the ignition on, woww. The sound was awesome. I was shocked to see that the vibes very negligible. Coming from RE ride, i felt mojo is butter smooth. The pick up was good, i reached 90 within no time. Had a moment of panik braking, and even though the brakes of mojo are not the best, but they did their job. While returning to showroom, i was constantly riding at 100 kmph.
Only problem i had with bike was weight. I am on leaner side, and this bike is very heavy. I was not confident in the beginning. But as i drove, i gained some. Cornering is very difficult on Mojo. Turn radius is huge.
Looks...
The front part looked hideous to me in picture. But it really looks good when i first saw it. Tail led is awesome. Beefy fuel tank looks great too.
I find that Mojo is good alternative for Bullet. I find the ride quality of Mojo better than bullet.

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Guys. A quick one. I got a new mojo and got the accessories installed. The accessories were installed but I was told the charges are 1260/- for front guard pannier and rear fitment. This is in Mumbai ... Any one can confirm this "fitting charge" ?

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Not yet. It is so hot in Delhi that the only thing I am fitting are grass mats for the coolers in the house. And I ride only on early Sunday mornings just like superbike crowd. With no tours planned I will get these fitted later.Originally posted by RISHIS View PostTanay have you fit the gaurds and been charged differently ??
Also, if the fitting charges are indeed that much then I'll install them myself, I have bought a full allen key set already.200 | 300 | 1200 BOXER

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hello all
I see that mojo has a lot of room for customisation.
Also when i saw the scrambler/adventure avatars @ auto expo i was equally thrilled.
But now we know that they were only prototypes and won't be put to production anytime soon.
Mojo has got very unconventional looks.
So i believe inspite of all the pros it is lagging in the looks department.
So its my humble request to the owners to please share the pictures of mods done on the mojo by you or others here so that anyone following the thread will get more confidence to take the final leap.
As not much is available on the web.
Cheers. You Start Your Life with a Full Pot of Luck and an Empty Pot of Experience, the Object is to Fill the Pot of Experience Before you Empty the Pot of Luck.....!!

I have not done any mods beyond removing the saree guard. But have a look at this -Originally posted by dnewguy View PostSo its my humble request to the owners to please share the pictures of mods done on the mojo by you or others here so that anyone following the thread will get more confidence to take the final leap.
I have the same idea but maybe a bigger dome. Also those metal-backed handguards look nice. His bike also has custom built rear rack and a givi box mount etc.

One more bad news , also they have removed the rudimentary back rest. Don't know for what reason.... Need to fix that now !Originally posted by tanay View PostNot yet.
