[QUOTE=RISHIS;1221139]So finally booked white colour in Mumbai with S.M Auto , Prices are about to go up due to the increase in Maharashtra government road taxes. Right now OTR is Rs 1,94,904/- Any modifications anyone has done, not to the engine, but something to enhance the look of the bike or make it more comfortable for long distance.?
On youtube there is a video from "bigbang biker" regarding his friend's modified mojo. Take a look at that.
He has basically wrapped the sides of the tank and front wheel fender in mat grey colour and chopped off the tail section after the rear brake light.
The bike looks awesome (modified one) and with a pointed circular headlamp it would really look like ducati diavel's neglected twin
Regarding comfort, if only mahindra would have attached a roof and a fridge on the bike it would make for a second home.

If somebody has got good experience with both please comment.
Hmm, In the end it all comes down to heart I guess.
I am also looking to buy a bike this month and unsurprisingly my choice is also between duke and mojo.
While I will not try to influence your decision about what bike I have chosen, let me lay it out for you.
1: Duke felt really sporty (in a good way), I just couldn't stop grinning inside the helmet with the handling. Mojo felt more ROYAL.
2: Pickup of both is good, Top speed. . . more than what our roads can handle so unless you want to tear the road apart it is a tie.
3: Duke felt like relishing college days (top speed runs, red light runs), Mojo felt like a responsible adult with a tune of his own.
For me, Duke is a bike to get me all pumped up and looking forward to the corners.
Mojo is a bike I would want to ride with a I-Don't-give-a damn rhythm
I live in Delhi and following are my cases
Duke all the way to for twisty mountains (for thise tasty mountain curves)
Mojo for all the trips to Jaipur or Jaiselmer (for the straight boring highways, lost in my own thoughts)
All features like ABS and weight really become useless if your heart is set on the bike you love

RISHIS if you are worried about pillion comfort on Mojo then fit the Carriers which Tanay shared on Page no 24. Those Carriers gives a support for pillions to sit comfortably. I have checked and tested it.

Can somebody share the service cost for regular services done.
As I will be buying the bike which is lowest in service cost as we know Ktm is at higher in cost and TNT is more costlier and don't want to spend fortune in maintaining it.

Thanks Vishwa, I did order the accessories as well. 2 questions regarding the same.
Is there any specific bag which can be fixed behind it (On the rack I mean, Soft luggage bag) ?
Also that rudimentary backrest.Anyone thinking of customizing it with some cushion?

              RISHIS,

I think all type of Claw Saddle Bag will fit for Mojo, However Mahindra have their Own Saddle Bag and Tag bag, I think both was designed by Viaterra which fits perfectly fine on the bike.

Average service cost for Mojo is around 2200 that too once in every 6000km.
For KTM also it is around 2300 but once in every 5000 km.
For TNT25 , cost is 3400 , for every 4000km. And TNT tyres are costly too.

KTM services are no longer at 5000 KM, they are at 7500.
                  Must ride on!

Only the color composition looks cool, specially the matte.rest front looks bad , so does the rear, specially the mud guard.but then beauty lies in the eye of beholder 😜

Looking at that modified mojo on video was good, now thinking about it. .
1: The rider was short so the mojo actually looked out buffed
2: Due to the slightly front set foot pegs it is impossible to bring that masculine aggressive naked bike look that diavel has
3: Those fat exhausts. . . scraping the hell whenever rider leans.
In short, I feel mojo should be left as it is. It can't be made to look like a diavel nor like a thunderbird.
A clean, relaxed, straight line tourer.

                            Update at 4000 kms -

Bike running as smooth as day one. Stock tires went all the way to Mana, seeing some real rough roads, but came back without a single puncture or cut.
Regarding leans - the bike scrapes but it does so at good lean angles, something that comes easy due to the good tyres. Put a pair of tyres more suited to bad roads and I don't think the rider will be leaning that much anyway. My opinion - the exhausts do not hinder the turning/leaning capability of the bike, unless the rider is the knee down types. For touring purposes it is absolutely competent.

After this 1300 Km trip to UK, no vibrations, nothing loose, no new niggles to discover so far. Have to give it a wash though.

While shifting the bike from Bangalore the packers had bent the gear lever badly, I had straightened it but it was not perfect. So I picked up a gear lever from the service center today (cost = 199 bucks) but did not get it fit because of the general weekend rush.

The saddlebag frame and the rear seat frame are two separate pieces. Cost being 2K and 1.8K respectively. I will probably fit the saddlebag frames when I go to have the gear lever replaced.

Hi guys this is Gaurav from Pune. I am new to this thread. Currently I own CBZ Xtreme but planning to buy Mojo in this month. I visited Mahindra showroom yesterday. Mahindra has appointed special manager for Mojo for Pune city. He showed me the bike & explained every details about the bike. He also informed that waiting period for bike is 20-25 days because Mahindra will manufacture bike only after receiving booking. Overall impression of bike was very good. Bike looked really big, especially from front. However front looked little bit weird resembling face of Owl. Also I felt build quality very good. Seating posture was very straight & seat height of Mojo is I think highest among all bikes in India i.e. 814.5 mm which is very comfortable for me as I am 6 ft tall.

Manager quoted me total price of Rs. 1.93 lakhs which includes following.
                              1) On Road Price of Rs. 1.85 lakhs.
                              2) Rs. 1300 for additional warranty of 3 years after initial free warranty of 2 years
                              3) Rs. 4000 for changing tail design. New design looked very sporty than conventional tail.
                              4) Rs. 3000 for removing both DB Killers for menacing exhaust sound.

I am going for TD tomorrow. If I find engine smooth & reliable & performance of bike good , I will definitely go for it. Obviously I will opt for Volcano Red colour which looks prettiest. I will update my TD experience tomorrow. Thank you very much

3000 for removing DB killers? :P
Can u clarify on this? I wouldn't pay even 3 rupees for that.
And guys, users who have removed the DB killers are complaining of ear pain. It makes the bike very loud like unbearable after riding for some time. And helmets increase the bass further. I'm my opinion the bike sounds good with the DB killers on also.

                                Happy riding.
