Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
I remember that Mahindra was going to release a set of accessory db killers with a larger exit diameter - it increases noise but not as much as having no db killer. Maybe he is referring to that. Even then, 3K for a couple of steel pipes is rather high.
As for the new tail design I am also interested. Though it may just be existing tail + saddlebag and tail frame added = 3.8K total200 | 300 | 1200 BOXER

New rail design ? I'm guessing he's talking about the panniers and rear fitment.
So I spoke to S M Auto guy today and he tells me that the accessories have gone in for R&D again. So he's afraid that it's going to take time to get the new ones. Does anyone know anything about this?We Bikers are not those who ride to commute , But the ones who commute to ride

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
I have a feeling that this 'new tail design' is nothing more than removing rear fender and putting the number plate on the tyre hugger. I've seen it on the whatsapp group sometime back. Because putting the rear rails is not going to make it look more sporty at all.Originally posted by RISHIS View PostNew rail design ? I'm guessing he's talking about the panniers and rear fitment.

As for some more R&D on accessories I have not heard anything but am hoping that the rear rails have not gone away, that's all I need for now. I'll try and get them installed this week itself.200 | 300 | 1200 BOXER

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Today I took TD. It was very short ride but engine & gear shifting was very smooth. However brakes felt were lacking bite & but I can manage with those brakes. I bargained a lot with Manager regarding giving free accessories. He has quoted On Road Price of Rs. 1.85 lakhs + Rs 4000 for new rear indicators & is offering following for free.
1) Set of db killers with larger exit diameter worth Rs. 3000
2) Extended warranty for 3 years after initial 2 years worth Rs. 1300
3) One year road side assistance worth Rs. 3000
4) Saddle bag - Don't know exact price
5) Tank bag - Don't know exact price
However I am little hesitant because before taking any decision I would like know about following issues
1) Reliability of engine & other parts of bike - I hope it won't be same as Bajaj because both are Indian manufcturers
2) After sales service from Mahindra
3) Overall performance of bike
Mojo owners please help me in this regard.

Hey Tanay , my dealer told me it will take approx two more weeks to get this issue sorted. He says some R&D again. I wanted to fit all of them together.!Originally posted by tanay View PostI have a feeling that this 'new tail design' is nothing more than removing rear fender and putting the number plate on the tyre hugger. Anyone from Mumbai who's purchased their vehicle from S.M Auto and has got accessories fitted from there itself? Please get in touch with me?
Also if there is some whatsapp group, please connect me to them. Mumbai, PAN India , whatever..We Bikers are not those who ride to commute , But the ones who commute to ride

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Owners! I'm getting the bike before the coming weekend and I plan to take the bike next day for a 500-600 kms ride. Shouldn't be an issue right ? (I'm going to maintain the limits mentioned in the manual) Or should I hold myself back and wait for the run in to get over and then start touring on it ?We Bikers are not those who ride to commute , But the ones who commute to ride

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
I say go right ahead, run-in with a limit of ~5K rpm gives you 90 km/hr in 6th gear, the highway should be ideal for varying rpms while still doing good speeds.Originally posted by RISHIS View PostOwners! Well , I got my bike today, but there seems a major issue with the bike, the bike's speedometer is showing me incorrect speeds, anyone knows why? Taking her to the service centre tomorrow , but right now I'm just worried about her. Some relay problems? We Bikers are not those who ride to commute , But the ones who commute to ride
