Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
For example if i am riding at 50, the speedo shows i,m riding at 15kmph or 2kmph. It keeps fluctuating so I dont really know what speed i am going at. And its harmful, i was zapped by this.Originally posted by rreneav1987 View PostWe Bikers are not those who ride to commute , But the ones who commute to ride

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
So the Mojo has an optical speed sensor on the rear wheel. It takes readings from the inner portion of the rear disc. I'm sure the service center will sort this issue out, it may be the sensor or the cable or even the speedometer unit, who knows.Originally posted by RISHIS View PostFor example if i am riding at 50, the speedo shows i,m riding at 15kmph or 2kmph. It is highly possible that the digital sensor cable is at fault... Most common in RTR... It will be resolved. It won't take long to identify... They can fix it in hardly 1hr depending on the spare part availability..Originally posted by RISHIS View PostUhh you think this issue will be rectified in a days time or will it take more time as i'm planning to ride far... and it is kind of worrisome ..Splendor - 2k to 2006

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hello guys I have one query. I asked one expert who is Editor of two wheeler section of magazine dedicated to cars & bikes, regarding buying Mahindra Mojo. I can not mention name of magazine & editor here. But he gave me following reply.
''Dear reader: sorry to inform you, the Mahindra Mojo isn't a good choice of bike, for it suffers basic chassis flaws that hamper handling and riding safety. Within the budget you are looking at, we suggest you consider the Royal Enfield Himalayan, a sturdy and comfortable bike that will suit your tall height well. Should you be willing to wait, and able to raise your budget a little bit, it makes sense for you to wait for the BMW G 310R, as will come to India around the end of the calendar year 2016''.
Now how much truth it would be having because person sending this reply is very expert & also editor of magazine. So his opinion does carry lot of importance.
Guys throw some light on this.

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Someone suggesting a Himalayan over the Mojo? Sounds very much one sided response to me.. Mojo has been out for quite a while now and I don't see much complaints as of now.. Himalayan looks promising. No doubt, but doesn't make sense to why he suggests a Himalayan over Mojo! Anyways, let the owners here answer your query..Originally posted by gauravd1985 View PostHello guys I have one query. Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Everyone has their own view of any bike. U ll like some of the things n u dislike something else. It is u who has to decide which one u want to have.
Above being said, if u ask me, Mojo suited me v well. It had comfortable riding position, refined engine, easy on maintenance, sound, head Turner, etc.. I too went on bike search for about 4 months.. But Mojo was d best for my needs n my style of riding.
Choice is yours, it is u who is riding it so don't go by me or any other posts.. Just take those articles as reference and decide.
What ever you choose, happy n safe riding. 😊

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
I read that article too and that too before buying the bike...
There are some really great bikers out there who have done some crazy miles on mojo and they love the machine...
I didn't find any issue with handling at all and it is super stable...and suits my relaxed riding style...and braking is also good and progressive...and If one asks me again..I would go with the same decision all over again...
One thing I loved about mojo was..it is very reliable..especially with features like limp mode etc...from100s of owners of mojo south India what's app group i didn't come across any problems of break down in the middle of nowhere and one having to scramble for mechanics...it will bring you home safe... And service is really great...
Coming to quality..I can say mojo is definitely very very good...I came across some crazy pics of front wheel getting separated from the bike..of the bike you are comparing with...
It's easy to make statements such as "basic chassis flaw" etc..which are fancy and sophisticated...Discussing specifics..as to how did hamper handling and what riding safeties did it compromise on and how will be very informative...
At the end of the day choice lies with oneself and can prefer any bike he she wants.. But do good research and go to showrooms multiple times and inspect it thoroughly and make a decision. I wouldn't trust these reviews...but my only eyes and senses..
I came across reviews on bikes singing praises of great quality of bike..but reality is the parts get worn out too quick and other host of problems...

Usually i wont reply to most of threads , but here is an exception, have you seen Himalayan or taken test ride ? if no , you first go and take TR .Originally posted by gauravd1985 View PostHello guys I have one query. its promising bike , better build and look than any other RE bikes and its technically much ahead compared to other RE bike . period.
Now comparing to Mojo is most childish thing , you can compare only till which category the bike belongs and nothing more than that, technology , build quality and reliability wise Himalayan is far...far..far.. behind decades of Mojo , Himalayan mostly and majorly for RE fans, if that bike would have come with any other company tag , i would have brought it rightaway, anyway that's other side of discussion. old tech and un-reliable bike is definitely not good choice. just go for Mojo you will be lot more happier than other bike for sure.
regarding Auto magazine/portal , just forget about those one sided ppl, i still remember in many shows [overdrive on tv] the guy who ans the viewers email which bike to buy, always suggest not to buy R15 , saying that it only suitable for Race and not useful on public roads , instead he use to suggest Honda/bajaj , hope you got the ideaLast edited by nagoo; 04-22-2016, 03:58 PM.

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
I have owned a brand new Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 and i still have it. They promoted the bike as a superb touring machine. The bike caught fire while i was riding to goa due to some electrical circuit problem. Also the bike stayed with royal enfield for 5 weeks because their battery sucked. And there are a thousand other problems with Royal Enfield. How do you expect to do trust a vehicle which does not fulfill anything about the tag. I have had mojo for just two days and trust me. This is the kind of confidence which is supposed to be inspired when riding the highways and not the nervousness which Royal Enfield provides.Originally posted by nagoo View PostUsually i wont reply to most of threads , but here is an exception, have you seen Himalayan or taken test ride ? if no , you first go and take TR .

P.s : I am willing to fight over this with any and everyone that Royal Enfield is a completely ignorant company.
You can rather take a splendor a 1/3 cost and take it to Himalayas than a Royal Enfield. We Bikers are not those who ride to commute , But the ones who commute to ride

Seconded.Originally posted by nagoo View PostUsually i wont reply to most of threads , but here is an exception, have you seen Himalayan or taken test ride ? if no , you first go and take TR .
a test ride is all you need.
For me :- Apart from mojo's unconventional looks and the confirmation from the manager that the adventure/scrambler versions displayed at the auto expo were purely prototypes, I couldn't find any other reason why I should not go for it as my do-it-all bike.
