Yeah, mojo sales surpassed the CBR250. Good work by mahindra. Although the bike looks like Hedwig.

But in case of Mahindra, yes there are no freebies, but its absolutely fine since its already a VFM product. They use parts sourced from international brands, you get quality for a price. And the support so far has been really good for us Bangalore peeps, we get direct attention from senior executives of M&M when we raise any issue, so everything is solved in a timely manner with proper follow-ups. And the service cost is very low compared to the likes of Benelli. My 1st and 2nd service both costed about Rs.1500 each. So no much complains from my side.
+1 Happy with the bike and service.

Does anyone here know of Mojos that are to be sold in Bangalore. Also, what would be a fair price for a 2015 Mojo run around 10000kms in Bangalore.

Yep, even me and my friends were impressed by the quality of components on offer. Even the Mojo Relationship Manager who attended us seemed to be a great guy. From the posts of owners it also seem the service managers are great too. That being said I do think that Benelli's are great bikes in their own right.

Thats why I am looking at whether it's possible to get a well maintained used example of the bike in Bangalore. So my friends repeating my initial query since it seems to have got lost in this Mahindra Benelli Battle .

Does anyone here know of Mojos that are to be sold in Bangalore. Also, what would be a fair price for a 2015 Mojo run below/around 10000kms in Bangalore.

This is what I probably was waiting for.. a well informed discussion on the topic of Mahindra reliability. And Yeas, now that it has been pointed out, I do agree 100% that the Mojo seems to have the best quality to rupee ratio in the market.

I might as yet buy a bike and ride. And it will be the Mojo. My looking for freebies is one of the attitudes that make manufacturers increase price (not cost) or compromise on quality.

          THANKS!!!

The only question I need help with is - When touring with my wife and in a location where Mahindra does not sell Mojo (Hampi for instance) would Mahindra do the needful if bike needs help? And from Mojo tourers, what is the reliability of the Bike? Normal usage and well maintained.

Well I am not a Mojo owner yet (looking at purchasing a used one..or maybe I will go nuts and purchase a new one), but regarding reliability the Bike seems to be fairly reliable. You do get the bike with 2 years/30000 kms warranty and then there is also the option of extended warranty to increase this to 5 years/72000kms. This does show that Mahindra is confident about the long term reliability of the product. I would still ask the owners in your place of residence for which service centre is good since even a Kawasaki can be ruined by a untrained/unskilled mech.

For any breakdowns in remote locations Mahindra does provide an RSA package with Mojo (dont know the cost) that has a coverage of 300kms and once you report the issue in their whatsapp group, in which Mahindra senior personnel are present, the response towards fixing issues seems to be great(read post 231 in this thread).

Well, yes, the quality of service vastly depends on the mechanics and that is not easy for a Brand to control 100%. I live is Bangalore and I have heard only good things about Alfa. They have 2 outlets, WhiteField and Domlur. The Domlur one is equipped and trained for the Mojo. I myself have only good things to say about Alfa Whitefield, specially Javed the person who interacted with me, especially my tantrums (well almost) last week. Though my Dealer is Alfa Whitefield, I will pick up the bike from Domlur as PDI is possible there only and I would not want a mechanic to ride her down to WhiteField.

I have booked the Red and White one. It was a last minute switch from the Black since I have been riding Black bikes for a long time (The TB 500 and then the CBR 260), a refreshing change this time.

Yes, I have read about Mahindra's exemplary support too, but was kinda insecure, probably because had picked up the habit of discounts and freebies. My bad. They do have a 1 year RSA which costs around 600 INR (300 Honda, Max 20 KMs from the city of Purchase). Javed did say that it is in and around the city of purchase but Mahindra will support all over the country. Will re-confirm and buy the Nation Wide is available. And also the Extended warranty too.

Looking forward to to Join the whatsapp group and also as many rides as possible.

                      Thanks and regards,

oh bad.yes one of the tribe member in chennai had experience the same. but not sure about warranty replacement.
bikes with low profile tyres are bound to have rim bends, had personally experience in ktm.
