I booked with 30k. I think demanding the entire payment is kinda justified because they incur significant expenses transporting the vehicle and want to make sure that you won't back out.

Try to convince/assure them.

Yes, Today I also received message from mojo service guy, They are raising price in september but I am not sure how much 5000 or 10000.
Is mahindra updating any thing or its just price hike ?

No, not at all..! I booked mine with just Rs.5000 and that the sale guys from Mahindra came all the way home and collected the cash from me. You can actually demand an explanation why they are asking for full payment. If need you can escalate this.

When I visited the dealer in Pune he said that they just don't make the bike until they receive an order. He asked me to just pay Rs.500 so that he can ask the guys to get the bike made. (sounds funny)
In the quotation he mentioned booking amount 10k and down payment 60k. (20/08/2016)
Rest payment before the delivery.

Just price hike only (no hardware upgrade or paint scheme)

Problem solved finally svc manager told to paid 1 Lak
after receiving mojo do remaining payment (Manager said 10k is just booking amount when u paid full amount then only mahindra ship mojo to madurai )

September 5 (vinayaga) booking
September 15 deliver or 27

No complementary gift 🎁 😓 (but they told we arrange jacket for free in August but now no gift)

Hi Guys,

Again here with a query.
I work and Live in Gurgaon.

I have a Mahindra Mojo. Mahindra and a lot of my fellow riders claim it's mileage to be around 30 (27-30).
Where as I am getting a lot lower than that. 20-25 normally.

I am not a very bad rider. Bike seems happy and no sudden throttle or braking is done on my part. No overspeeding (not all the time.)
I used to get 40-45 on my last ride Apache RTR 180.
I keep the chain lubricated and the tyre pressure in check. Acceleration and clutch wires are good as new and the only problem I can see is the fuel quality that I use.

Any help from you all experienced guys is welcome..

Dude. I would recommend you to get something else like a tank bag, panniers, crash bar etc (or a combination) as a freebie. You have several options out there for a jacket which you should buy after trying it on. The jacket is all black and I, personally, would like something more flashy to improve visibility on the road. Just my 2 cents.

Axor also provides superior protection but not that level. It's just worth the money..

So after too much discussion and brainstorming finally i booked MOJO in Volcano Red ..yippie
Had a long discussion with Mr. Benjamin Franklin who is MOJO Relationship Manager for Pune who conducts all the MOJO Tribes.

1. Getting Tank Bag , Saddle Bags, Motorcycle Mobile Charger as freebie.

2. Went to book MOJO in Cremson matte red colour , but unfortunately this color is discontinued. This colour was experimented by Mahindra and every city received 3 bikes of red matte color . But there was issue with the matte colour as the color was peeling off near tank in long run when in contact with petrol. So this colour is permanently discontinued . Few bikes are available in stockyard but he clearly stated that we are informing you earlier , if any issue comes with paint we are not responsible.

2. In one or two months the price is going to increase by 10000 to 15000 (ex showroom price) . He stated that for Mahindra MOJO is a huge success and to take benefit of Demand & Supply they are increasing price ( NO cosmetic change just a price hike )

3. ABS is coming in 6- 7 months because as per the Indian Regulation ABS will be mandatory for 125 cc above bikes (expect a price hike then also )

4 A cheaper MOJO also coming with price range near 1.5 lakhs onroad.

5 And a biggest surprise faired MOJO is under development with MAHINDRA RACING paint scheme to be launched in 2018 with 3 Lakhs price band . Didn't disclosed the specifications though.

Great you are getting those accessories as freebie. When I visited the same dealer, only white colored Mojo was on display, wanted to check out the red - white.
He was ready to give me the jacket as freebie. I think the accessories are the better choice.

Looks like soon I'll be the only member left in this group who hasn't bought the bike. 😢
I'm jealous, but will wait for the ABS version to arrive.

Psst... Bajaj has postponed the VS400 (CS400 name changed) launch to November/December.

Tried out the RE Himalayan today. Looks intimidating, seat height was bit on higher side for me (Height - 5"8 || Weight - On the higher side ) . Loved the bike, controlled myself from booking it by reminding myself about the quality issues.
