Very good, I am not talking about height my friend.Originally posted by prashant.b View PostThe weight here is in good in a sense that it gives more stability at higher speed to the Mojo. Though the same weight also plays role in breaking in a negative fashion. However the Breaking in Mojo is good even without ABS.
I am a 5.5" with medium built and drives the bike with full confidence be it city, highways or hills. its the skills and bike that matters not the height my friend.
Dani Pedrosa is 5.2" and is a Moto GP rider
The main issue I was pointing towards weight because if it is too heavy we will struggle in moving the bike in tight parking lots, pulling back in incline when parked in the slopes
.
We have RE350 Stand and it's kerb weight is around 180,normally when I drive in little busy traffic, have experienced calf muscle pain due to balancing the bike(weight adds here) it ruins my drive experience, feels cumbersome and that is the only sole reason I hate RE.
After all these experience gave the bike to my brother and it suits him.
So don't want to end up again in the same league and crib of spending 2lacs.
Hope you understand the issue.

Once you get the bike on the road, it feels nimble.Originally posted by Punto@bang View PostVery good, I am not talking about height my friend.

However, I do get your point about parking lots and close quarters. But I guess you just get used to it. I personally hold grab rails and lift the bike a bit to move it around.
On the flip side, you can boast about your upper body strength after using the bike for a while.

Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
so after trying 3 test drives (3 separate occasions) I have decided to let this one go, front seems too much heavy,in city traffic for a regular commute, it just doesn't work for me.Thanks everyone in this group, time to leave.
I have finalised RE Himalayan(almost certain to go for it), waiting for Bajaj CS400(launch expected anytime now), otherwise Himalayan is what i am getting.

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hi,
I am planning to purchase my first bike in budget of 2 lacs. I will use the bike as occasional cruising and bike should be easy for Delhi traffic. I am confused between RE bikes and Mahindra Mojo.
I heard lot of things for both bike. I watched all the reviews read the complete thread.
Pro:
If I talk about RE It's name has legacy in it's simple and powerful machine and popular too. If I purchase RE classic today I can see that bike in my garage after 10 years. I am sure RE classic will be with me for ages, I seen RE 10-15yr old and still working. Simple built allow yourself to do some maintenance. It looks great package to me.
Con:
But In other side when I see that loud thump which could be good at lower speeds and for short rides but I dont think at speed of 90-100 (whic is the best speed for RE bikes for longer distances) that thump sounds good. According to owners review RE is not reliable machine common problem like oil leaks, clutch wire, false neutral, gear problem, engine knocking sound, vibration in handle etc.
Second Bike: Mahindra Mojo.
Pro:
Looks not very popular I can see so many bikes on road but on paper is far away from RE in every manner smooth engine better power output, No vibration.
Handling is good for city traffic, better tier all parts are imported, decent built quality. Higher spped of cruising and lot more.
Con:
Long term reliability, low city mileage in comparison to RE, complex engine needed skilled technician.
I am confusied which bike should I go, Please suggest if is there any other bike which I can consider.
Thanks
Bhavishya

Even i had the same problem , felt front slightly heavy. since i was using R15. But when i shared this feedback with a mahindra guy during a group ride. He suggested to lower the fork by 10-15mm.After that bike became agile & handling was easy.

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
If you are going to be riding around the city a lot, I would suggest RE. But if you are regularly cruising or if you are in the suburbs and use the highway to get around with some city riding, Mojo is the bike for you (the gears are pretty tall).Originally posted by Bhavishya Jaiman View PostHi,

About build quality, Mojo is pretty solid. I understand that there are a lot of RE vehicles that are 10-15 years old. Back then they did not mass produce the vehicles and a lot of care went into each vehicle. I doubt that is the scenario now. Just look at the what kind of warranty RE offers on its vehicles and compare that with the Mojo. That will speak volumes about the confidence a company has on its bike.
At the end of the day, there is nothing that comes close to the raw machismo of RE. Ultimately, it all boils down to your personal choice. The heart wants what it wants.
All the best bro.

I personally feel mojo is a refined RE , it has many similar character of RE & better than RE in few areas. It's definitely a good value of money. so i suggest to take more long test rides of mojo to understand better.Originally posted by Bhavishya Jaiman View PostHi,

Only one which it does not have is the legacy like RE.
