It wouldn't. I talked with R and D guy, named bhupathi sir. He said it will take time, but not 3-4 yrs.

As per the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways all vehicles above which are above 125 cc should have ABS by April 1, 2018.. so most definitely it'll not take 3-4 years. Best case scenario, it'll take close to 1 year for the Mojo to have ABS. Worst case scenario, it'll be launched at the 11th hour. Lets hope that I am wrong.

          New - 199700

I'm gong to book Mojo coming Wednesday
          This is really bad
So, if and when the ABS version is launched the price would be close (if not same) to that of KTM Duke 390.

Mahindra - not sure how are you going to sell your bike coz Duke - at the similar price-range is superior in most cases than the Mojo.

Apart from outright power and performance there is nothing really in Duke that is superior to mojo. Refinement, comfort, tank range or any other character that is required for touring, Mojo wins pretty easily.

I am planning a ride from Delhi to Auli in second week of Jan 17, do I need to change the rear tyre of mojo or that will work in snow and mud on road.

Had a long discussion with Mr. Benjamin Franklin who is MOJO Relationship Manager for Pune who conducts all the MOJO Tribes.

                1. Getting Tank Bag , Saddle Bags, Motorcycle Mobile Charger as freebie.

                2. Went to book MOJO in Cremson matte red colour , but unfortunately this color is discontinued. This colour was experimented by Mahindra and every city received 3 bikes of red matte color . But there was issue with the matte colour as the color was peeling off near tank in long run when in contact with petrol. So this colour is permanently discontinued . Few bikes are available in stockyard but he clearly stated that we are informing you earlier , if any issue comes with paint we are not responsible.

                2. In one or two months the price is going to increase by 10000 to 15000 (ex showroom price) . He stated that for Mahindra MOJO is a huge success and to take benefit of Demand & Supply they are increasing price ( NO cosmetic change just a price hike )

                3. ABS is coming in 6- 7 months because as per the Indian Regulation ABS will be mandatory for 125 cc above bikes (expect a price hike then also )

4 A cheaper MOJO also coming with price range near 1.5 lakhs onroad.

5 And a biggest surprise faired MOJO is under development with MAHINDRA RACING paint scheme to be launched in 2018 with 3 Lakhs price band . Didn't disclosed the specifications though.

So 2 weeks back I posted that the price of MOJO is going to increase , but never expected so soon (thanks to high demand of MOJO ) . Yesterday's post in this forum came as a shock, didn't got sleep properly . Today morning the showroom opened at 10 AM and i was there driving 20 Km ( yes both Mahindra showroom in Pune is 20 Km away from my house )
And what i heard I was unable to digest , i though that the on road price increased by 6000 but

                Earlier on road price 1,89,192
Latest Price 2,07,864 ( thanks to the Maharashtra's Road Tax, Insurance and blah blah the difference came to 18,672 ..... ) a rude shock , suddenly my dream BIKE was like a dream now.

Then came a bit of relief , this price is effective 30th Sept . So if i pay before 30th i have to pay older price ( applicable for all whether you booked or not ).. Yesss
My hand slipped to my cheque book ,made the complete payment and the documentation and yes i bought MOJO ( but i will be taking delivery on Diwali eve )

Few points from my today's visit
                1. As i pointed earlier also the price is increasing by 15000, today he also confirmed that instead of directly increasing the price they are increasing in 3 batch with a difference of 2 to 3 months. So after 2-3 months there is another price hike.

                2. Once they will increase price till 15000 , new MOJO is going to be launched ( downgraded version ) at current MOJO price i.e. 1.89 lakh on road

                3. ABS is not coming soon

                4. Tried the Paddock stand for MOJO , easy to operate and its universal even you can use this on Hayabusa, price is 3200 only

So guys go and book your MOJO , Happy Riding

I really don't agree with only one point. The refinement of Mojo being more than CBR250R. Rest, all is fine.

Stock tyres are not meant for off-roading. Although it can manage, I suggest that you change the rear tyre atleast for a smoother experience.

                            1. Seat cover isn't necessary but it adds to the looks, protects the OEM seat and adds to the comfort levels. And the best part is that it costs only Rs.500 or so.
                            2. Tyre Hugger costs about Rs. 900
                            3. 3M PPF, it'll be costly but you'll have a peace of mind after its applied. No worries about scratches

                              1. Get the seat cover , it comes with 8mm foam padding for extra comfort
                              3. Get 3M PPF on tank its must considering the scratches you will get using your tank bag and jeans ( volcano Red is prone to it ) you can get Shifterz c3 coating on other parts

About seat cover I need to put it by private shop. Mahindra is also providing seat cover as accessorie but it not suits for volcano color.
