Changing to 55/60 watt will reduce the life of the reflector due to over due. benefits earned in night riding are also less .But alternator has enough output for 55/60 watt bulbs.
Best it is go for fog lamps which is now sold in accessoires.

Do you actually do that much of night riding? In the city it won't matter much. I would suggest use and then upgrade if necessary

I usually do night rides on weekends. My current bike is fitted with 55 watt HID plus two dog lights. So the output of 35w + 35w is nothing in front of current HID setup. That why am very eager to know about the upgrade. And how is the mojo default light spread? If the reflector is not properly spreading the light then no use of upgrading the light to 60/55w..

        • On metallurgy, and what ensues

So I got back to Delhi after about two months outside.

I took the (disconnected) batteries for both my P200 and Mojo out from storage.
Connected the pulsar battery. Gave it a few electric starts. Took it out on the roads for about four or five push starts. Finally, about half an hour later, the Pulsar started and I stopped (due to exhaustion, heat, humidity etc etc) - inference - its a pulsar, what else do you expect, eh?

          Anyway

After another hour of rest & recovery, I connected the Mojo battery. Ignition key in -> kill switch off -> first crank -> *boom* engine starts - inference - Mahindra made some gooooooood stuff here

Stuff like this is not apparent in the spec sheets, nor in test rides. It comes once you own the bike and live with it for a long time.

          Its a good bike.

Perhaps the best modification done for offroading on Sarath Shenoy's Karthiyayini . He is participating in Raid de Himalayas on MOJO

Then u ll definitely get refund. Before buying benelli think about service cost. I heard per service cost around more than 5k to 10k.

Bro, please go through the tnt25 thread before you decide on it. Seems it's extremely crazy on pocket. You may check out the CBR as well as alternative. Good luck on your bike search.

As I see it, I dont have a problem with high service expenses (happens even for Kawasaki..compared to our Indian brands) but it seems DSK is unnecessarily inflating the prices of spares in order to take maximum advantage of the limited number of customers. For example even if most components of the bike started being manufactured in India I would expect them to continue to price it like they were being imported...that would piss me off (not passing the cost savings onto the customers).

Well if you are set on the TNT25 (hope you are aware of any potential issues with the bike) then good for you bro. Also next time while booking the bike be sure to confirm that the booking amount is refundable. I think if mojo had been a CKD product you might have lost a tidy sum from the booking amount. Best of luck.
