Thinking of benneli tnt25

If you are thinking of getting a Benelli and OK with the service costs, save up some extra money, get a loan for the remainder amount and buy a TNT300.

I agree with you on getting a TNT 300 above TNT 25, better think twice before getting a Benelli. I'm using TNT 300, the spare & service costs are insane. You start 10 bikes and the engine sound is different in at least 7 of them.

Its been close to 2 months since I got the Mojo. I was promised a magnetic tank bag during booking and I am yet to receive it. They always cite some reason (rains in Indore, not in stock, people who made reservation before you got it instead, it has been shipped but not sure when we would receive it). Better try to get some other accessory that is available specific to Mojo (like the crash bar, saddle bag mount etc.) Better go for ViaTerra for the tank bag.

My Instrument console developed a crack. Seems the screw was too tight. There was also some condensation in the inside of my instrument console. Have to get this replaced.

My dealer same situation happens
In WhatsApp group one of the member asking "when I get my jacket" i shocked he brought mojo @ Feb 2016 till now he didn't get his free jacket... So if u r dealer tell complimentary gift go for crash bar, saddle carrier, pannier. Don't ready to get tank bag, saddle bag, etc as free.

Lots of members reporting about Taco Meter not working, water inside the console and replaced under warranty. Is any major problem in console?

It had 15Kms on ODO when I took the delivery and now I've ridden about 150kms on it and here are my initial impressions..
The Bike grabs a lot of attention like a SBK, thanks to its dual exhaust which is pure music to ears. Whenever I stop somewhere, people just get close and stare at it and some even ask questions like "how much CC", "what is the cost" and "what is the mileage" and few even said "channagidde" (it's nice)
I've filled Nitrogen in the tyres and the ride feels excellent, you will be in total control over the bike while riding it and yes, you can flick it around in traffic once you get used to it. The bike feels heavy when moving it around while parking and the front also feels heavy while riding and one needs to get used to it. The bike goes up to 85kmph at 5K RPM in 6th gear and I've touched around 96kmph till now. Coming from a CB Unicorn, I felt that the clutch lever is a bit hard and causes wrist pain after riding for long time and I sorely miss the gear indicator as I am almost always in wrong gears while downshifting, I guess I'll have to get adusted to it.
Within city limits, you will have to work through the gears very often if you are in the running-in period. The higher gears are straining the engine below 4K RPM and if you go above 4K the speed climbs up fast. The quality of the switch gears is decent but then the paint quality is not upto the mark at certain places, if you get close and observe carefully. Since I have the Saree Guard on, I did take my mom while going to the temple, she was a little scared and she felt like sitting on a mountain but the pillion seat is just manageable for short spins.

The bike does heat up a little while in bumper-to-bumper traffic (specially in namma Bengaluru), but most of the heat is diverted away from your legs and you will feel little heat only in stop-go traffic, which I think is manageable considering its a single-cylinder 295cc engine.
I had read a lot of reviews about Mojo so took a test ride on a new bike which didn't travel much. I'm also riding Unicorn 150cc.Found some issues -
1. D clutch is hard which made d palm red. Won't it b an issue in city traffic ?or does after 1st servicing it smoothens out?
2. I felt some engine knocking in 1st gear -speed 0-15 n 2nd gear, speed 15-25 in city traffic. As I will b using it majority of the times in city roads won't it b a problem? I maintain d same gear speed ratio on my unicorn...

Hi everyone... I'm riding 150cc Unicorn for last 7 years.planning to upgrade to Mojo. I will mainly use it for commuting within d city.
Took a very short test ride.I had read a lot of reviews but have some doubts after riding it. D bike I rode had traveled v less.
1. In my Unicorn I use 1st gear, speed 0-15,2nd gear speed 15-20/25, 3rd gear speed 25-30/35... I tried d almost d same in mojo but felt some sort of knocking or limping kind of a feeling. Is this common? Won't it b a problem in city traffic?or is it coz a new bike?
2. The clutch n gear felt hard n after d short ride my palms were paining n redness was there.will it smoothen with time? Unicorn clutch is v smooth.
3. Light I felt OK,dipper itself is sufficient. Upper beam projects too much upward direction. The technician told it can b adjusted.
4. I felt a bit of heat on my legs after d short ride ,so what will happen when rode for longer time in a city? But in reviews it was told rider doesn't feel d heat.

You cannot compare Mojo to a Unicorn. Both have different gearing, so while it may hypothetically be fine to potter around town in 5th gear at 45 kmph on the Unicorn, doing the same on Mojo might cause the engine to knock. You should ride a bike according to it's characteristics and not according to your habits.
Regarding engine heat, again it will be much more than Unicorn and the rider is bound to feel it in heavy city traffic.
Lastly, while the clutch would smoothen out a bit with time, it will never be Unicorn smooth. As you move up segments, clutch starts getting progressively harder even on a Honda.

First 1) The clutch feels a bit hard at first. But it becomes smoother over use. I've used my bike for 2300 kms and I dont feel it anymore.
First 2) Gears are a bit taller on the Mojo. Shift between 4.5 to 6k RPM. If you main purpose is city driving, then the Mojo is not for you.

Second 1) I've been driving the Mojo in city traffic (Chennai) for quite some time. I got used to it. You are bound to feel this way after riding 7 years in a Unicorn. I switched over to Mojo after 4 years with Unicorn. Change shifting pattern.
Second 2) Gears become smooth over time. My guess you have never ridden a RE in city traffic.
3) That is right. It can be adjusted. You also have the option to install fog lamps as an accessory.
4) This is a short stroke 300 cc engine. It'll produce some heat - there is no way around it. You'll feel it even more if you ride it in bumper to bumper traffic (the kind you would experience when riding around the city). The bike needs to be ridden fast to stay cool. But then again, try riding a Duke 200, Pulsar NS/RS 200. You will get the same amount of heat. Duke 390 initially would not even start if the engine was too hot (now they seemed to have fixed it). I was cruising at 110 kmph for 2 hours straight on the Banglore highway and the engine was cooler than ever.

Hey buddy,

If you are coming from Unicorn then you will have to change your riding habits to adapt to the bike. The clutch will feel hard at starting but after few thousand KMs it will feel okay, still not as light as unicorn as told by others already. The gearing is very different on MOJO, I've covered about 11K KMs till now and I've got adjusted to its gearing. You always have to make sure that you shift up gears at 5K RPM or above especially from 3rd gear onwards. The bike may sound loud due to the higher revvs but that is normal and the bike likes to be ridden that way. If you up-shift too early then you'll be lugging the engine and it won't be a smooth experience at all, chances are it might even stall due to that. Similarly down-shift at 3.5-4K RPM for smoother performance. The gear shifts will be hard when you compare to Unicorn especially the downshifts, but you can learn revv-matching or throttle-blipping technique to make the downshifts smoother. I commute about 85+ KMs from home to office everyday, with a mix of highways, ring roads and city traffic, so I'd say the bike is quite good compared to other bikes in this segment. Heating is something which you will feel on any bike which is above 200cc, but as I said earlier you will feel the heat only if you are in tight bumper-to-bumper traffic and there are vehicles close to your left and right side then you will feel the hot air near your legs, but its nothing like unbearable. Once you get going, you won't feel the heat. And if you maintain decent speeds then you won't feel any heat and you'll enjoy the ride.
I suggest you to take a longer test-ride within the city and see if you are comfortable with the bike before you take any decision.

~Cheers

That means any higher CC bikes will have hard clutch even in Harley or Triumph?
I have never rode them so no idea.because of my height (6.2) and back problem can't opt for sports bike. So was pondering about Mojo as I like d style n specs

Have u sold ur unicorn?mojo is the only bike you are using? I like it for the power and looks.
The RPM you are mentioning is good for 3rd gear but again in city traffic high RPM in 1St and 2ND gear might not be possible.
Ya will take a test ride in city roads.
I feel it can be used in city roads with a bit of practice because every week we don't go for a long ride... after all we Indians look for value for money and utility...

That means any higher CC bikes will have hard clutch even in Harley or Triumph?
I have never rode them so no idea.because of my height (6.2) and back problem can't opt for sports bike. So was pondering about Mojo as I like d style n specs
Yes, most of the 250+ cc bikes have hard(er) clutch feel. They soften a bit with time as well as you get used to them.

No buddy, the unicorn is still there. After riding Mojo for few days you'll find unicorn and similar bikes like cycles, you won't feel its weight :P
Yes, in city any bike above 200CC will heat and give lesser mileage. So I try to avoid traffic everyday by going 20kms round on ORR.
