Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
I have a feeling you apply brakes with incorrect ratio.. rear brake is just to assist the front brakes to have a shorter braking distance.. I am a front brake addict and I rarely use rear brakes.. but when it comes to panic braking, both my right leg and right hand do their job.. it is best to have have a 70:30 ratio (front:rear)Originally posted by Gouthammohan View Post

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hello Everyone,
Just to give you guys an update, I have almost completed 2500 kms on my Mojo within one month of the ownership. Me and Tanay took our Mojos to a small village in Himachal Pradesh namely Chhitkul. Here are some photographs taken from my IPhone to sooth your eyes:
The motorcycles performed extremely well.
Fuel Tank - No problem
Bad roads or no roads - No problem
Smooth Engine - Hell Yeah!!
Overtaking - No problem
Rosso Tires - Why you know slip
Fog Lamps - Well it is better I keep it off before someone coming from the front goes blind
Mahindra has seriously worked on this bike and launched an excellent product in the very 1st go. Additionally, I have also got my Mojo jacket which was complimentary. I am extremely happy and satisfied with this bike after upgrading from a Pulsar 200 NS.
The Jacket
Odometer Reading
Also just got an update from the Mahindra service, that they also got a GPS system specifically for the Mojo and can be installed for total cost of INR 4,500 but I haven't seen that product nor explored other options of installing GPS. So really not sure if it is beneficial or not from various aspects. If someone gets hold of it, do share some photos. Thank you! Ride Hard and ride safe.
PS: If you are tourer, this is best motorcycle available in India at an excellent price point!Regards,

Thank you! Yes, the dealer informed me that he will give me a mojo jacket free if I book the bike through Pay TM. As you quoted, the jacket if purchased a damn expensive. Pay TM booking saved meOriginally posted by Sachidananda View Postthe photographs are awesome! did you get the jacket when you bought the bike? Hi guys , Installed radiator Guard on my MOJO and its doing the job pretty effectively. Best part is that it matches the body colour of my MOJO
You can check the Importance of Radiator Guard and the installation process in this link https://youtu.be/0h0SR5SfKE4

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hi friends, I did a test ride of mojo on Thursday and then got to know that the dealer has a bs3 mojo, registered in his name, driven 2600 KMs and is ready to give at a discount 20%, went to the showroom and saw the bike, intact test rode the bike, the bike is no doubt used, it is a Mar 16 registered bike, but looks to be in good shape, now following thoughts are in my mind and that is where I need help.
1. What is the future of this bike, it sells only 5-600 units a month and sustaining this volume might become a Issue for mahindra, what if they discontinue, how will we get spares, it's not a international model and so if discontinued, spares will become a issue
2. Is it advisable to buy a second hand mojo
3. The dealer says he will give a guarantee of 2 years from date purchase, can he give a warranty on a old bike, will that warranty be enforceable on mahindra, he says he will givev4 service free, cab he give 4 free service on his own
4. While I loved the bike for its smoothness and sound, not sure if wife will be comfortable as a pillion
5 I ride pulsar 220., that is also uncomfortable for pillow
Can people guide me, I quite like the bike
Thanks in advancemain aur meri motorcycle, aksar yeh batein kartey hain....

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
1) Valid point. Mr. Goenka had mentioned in an interview that they would promote mojo & not look at stopping the production. However in worst case scenario, if Mojo production is stopped, then you are in trouble. as already Mahindra two wheelers has a weak spares network, and Mojo network is even weaker. Plus many spare parts of Mojo are imported from Italy, Spain & China. Few spares are very expensive. Resale value is nil for Mojo. If you buy it, you will have to keep it for a long time to come.Originally posted by oldman View PostHi friends, I did a test ride of mojo on Thursday and then got to know that the dealer has a bs3 mojo, registered in his name, driven 2600 KMs and is ready to give at a discount 20%, went to the showroom and saw the bike, intact test rode the bike, the bike is no doubt used, it is a Mar 16 registered bike, but looks to be in good shape, now following thoughts are in my mind and that is where I need help.

2) From me a big no. I would strictly advise you not to purchase test ride bike/Second hand/BS3 discount. Please buy a brand new BS4 motorcycle.
3) Officially as per Mahindra, the dealer cannot offer warranty for a second hand motorcycle, let alone sell it. Any commitments he made to you, it is on personal basis only. Mahindra wont be responsible if the dealer backs off or changes his mind or harasses you.
4) Yes, Pillion seat is a bit small & awkward on Mojo.
Mojo is a motorcycle which excels in comfort, refinement & build quality. Feels premium.
> It is extremely comfortable on rider seat. Next best to RE's.
> Highway stability is very good.
> Suspension quality is very good.
> Refined, premium quality & components. No feel of cheapness anywhere.
> Huge metal tank, with huge 600km range.
> Sweet exhaust note.
But there are considerable downsides:
> Handling is front heavy & not pleasant for city. Mojo is not meant for cornering. It is a straight line motorcycle.
> Braking is not safe enough. Front brakes are soft/Inadequate & rear brakes are very sharp/dangerous. This is due to rear dual caliper & larger rear disc. Personally I wouldn't advise you to buy Mojo without ABS. However ABS for mojo would be available only from 2018 as per official sources.
> Spares, service for Mojo are already low. If discontinued, it will be difficult to manage because many of the mojo's parts are imported & not made in India.
Please test ride Dominar 400. A direct competitor to Mojo. ABS is a lifesaver, which is present in Dominar. Dominar feels less premium, less comfortable, slightly less quality & a little less refined than mojo, But it has:
> ABS, a lifesaver any day.
> Excellent braking which feels very reliable, very safe
> Excellent headlamps: Night riding feels very comfortable & safe.
> Better handling, chassis: Good in both city & Highway.
> No replacement for displacement: 73cc more.
> Better power & torque. You can easily feel it.
> Better value for your money. 30K cheaper than Mojo. Despite having ABS.
> Better sales, service & spares network. Spare parts are affordable.
Do not take a hurried decision. Dominar Test ride bikes are ill maintained & the bike may feel vibey. Also Bajaj sales team will be ignorant, unwelcoming & may not offer a long test ride. However if your heart still says 'Mojo' or you absolutely love it, then I would say please get the ABS version. Because "Safety First".
All this is in my opinion after writing it down best to my knowledge, based on truth & facts.

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Really appreciate, my take, the exhaust note is so nice once the dB killer is removed, can't just compare to anything, not sure about Dominar, it has issues and lacks refinement, somehow cant convince myself to go for tb 500, it's a nice bike but don't think you can ride it at 100+ with pillon on highway for long time and be safe, yes you right will wait and no go for send hand thingmain aur meri motorcycle, aksar yeh batein kartey hain....

Sorry brothers, dint want to be a spoil sport, I know some of us have just bought the beautiful bike, I myself quite loved it, the feel of the bike is very good, it's butter smooth to ride, rev happy, coming from pulsar, I quite liked the disc brakes, and the exhaust note is something to die for, it just makes you want to go on and on, the posture is very relaxing, overall I quite liked the bike, just that head takes over the heart sometimes, no offense meant, apologies to all if my thoughts offend, who knows heart might just take over and I may end up being part of the mojo tribemain aur meri motorcycle, aksar yeh batein kartey hain....

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hello Mojo peeps!
Planning of upgrading my 7yr old P220. I am 67kg 170cm built. I don't go for highway rides. Hence 99% of my riding is going to be in city. Just checked the mojo in a nearby showroom and fell in love with it especially the exhaust sound. TD bike isnt going to be available for few weeks here. My question is, Is the weight manageable for peak traffic conditions or will I have to regret going for mojo later for its heaviness. I am considering CBR250R as the other option.
Thanks in advance!
