That guard like thing is our Indian jugaadOriginally posted by JourneyGuy View PostLooks good. What is the guard like thing on which you have installed these lights? Please share the details with design and cost.
. It was my dad's idea and he got it made from a local welding shop. That is made of steel. Same steel which you must have seen on railings on stairs. And it is attached to the number plate frame below headlight. It costed me Rs. 550 in Lucknow.

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hey guys so about a week ago I picked up my mojo and as per their instructions i didn't accelerate too fast and didn't cross 5000 rpm and so on. But just 4 days after getting the bike I found a small collection of what seemed to be engine and transmission oil on the floor where my bike was parked. And so since this is the first bike I ever owned i immediately took the bike to the service center and inquired as to why this is happening and what is the cause of this. They said not to worry this is only a very minor problem which could be caused by a loose bolt in the engine block. So I gave it for service and got it back and it seemed to be fine after that if not better.
So my question is, is this normal and have any of you experienced the same?
Also my bike seems to have lower pick up compared to the test drive bike which i tried before booking. Did you guys also have this issue.
Sorry for all the dumb questions I am not an experienced bike owner and I don't have any friends who own a mojo.
Thanks a lot guys!!

First of all, Congratulations and Welcome to the Mojo Tribe. I am not sure about the leak issue but regarding the pickup, it would improve after riding for a while. Since the engine will be new, there will be more resistance but as you munch more miles it will become adjusted and perform better. But you cannot compare to Test Ride bikes, as you will always feel they are quicker. Reason can be anything like they usually don't have DB killers on which gives marginal performance boost, they might be tuned in a different way to appeal to the customers etc.
Ask your SA to add you to the Mojo Tribe, if they haven't done it already. You will make many Mojo friends there

Thanks for the welcome! And thanks for clearing up the issue with the pick up!!

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hey.. as Mahindra is not having a wide network of Service centers so in case Mojo has to be looked after by any normal mechanic what problems or issues one might face?
And is Mahindra going to look after the post sales service even if the company is not making profit from the bike?
In our city though the bike has been launched for last 3 months but yet didn't see a single one on road. So little apprehensive whether to go for it, if the showroom closes down citing losses.
If any one can put some light on the matter.

You are right about MTWL not having a wide network of service centers. For Mojo, you need to go to the mahindra authorized service center only as it can be serviced only by trained mechanic. As of now normal mechanic wouldn't be able to help you.Originally posted by Ed Tomal Bhattacharjee View PostHey.. as Mahindra is not having a wide network of Service centers so in case Mojo has to be looked after by any normal mechanic what problems or issues one might face?

About profit from bike, I don't know much but from media and press releases I heard that Mojo is a successful product from Mahindra. And they are planning for exclusive Mojo showrooms starting from Bengaluru.
Also for customers who are passionate about bikes, they are doing workshops, etc in Bengaluru and other cities. They are going extra mile for customer satisfaction.
Just go for it as there are very little chances of Mahindra taking down Mojo. Even if they did, they have to provide service support. Visit MTWL dealer in your city and check if they have set-up Mojo Zone for service of Mojo. Get assurance from the dealer about Mojo after sales support.Saludos,

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hi guys,
I am in the market for a new bike to replace my current Pulsar 180 UG4, and have shortlisted the Mojo. If anyone could let me know the OTR price and waiting time for the Mojo in Black at Pune it would be really helpful.
Also, how is the ASS from Mahindra? And how good is this bike in terms of DIY repairs on tour and mods?
Thanks in advanceEat, Sleep, Ride, Repeat.
Gear ON. Engine ON. Big grin under helmet... GAME ON !!!!

You must be aware that spares part availability for mojo is very limited & only basic spares available readily. Since it is a advanced liquid cooled motorcycle, DIY repairs in remote locations is always difficult. RE scores better here.
Showrooms/Service centers/spares are available in big cities only. Also as of now Mojo doesnt offer ABS.
I would suggest you consider CBR250R, Dominar400 & RE500 (if you are a grease monkey & ride sedately. BS4 & ABS version is on the way)

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Hello Tribe,
A brief background: I started my bike search sometime in Nov last year, considered a lot of bikes and after much research narrowed it down to Kawasaki Z250 and Benelli TNT 300, on further reading and asking users question thought that both bikes are good but, maintenance is on a higher side which didn't justify the performance and utility it offered....
My Usage: daily commute (Bangalore) of 40Kms, and weekend Road trips(once a month)
Always had Mojo on my mind and TB500, So this Friday took both out through Wicked bikes for a Day ride (380 Kms door to door), Although I liked the TB500 very very much, It has the looks, built quality(I didn't face any issue) and truckloads of torque no matter what you're carrying behind.. I think it's not usable in the city and if the roads are bad, In a perfect world I'd have both Bikes.
Coming to the Mojo: more than anything about the bike, it was the surprise of the power that blew me off... my god it can accelerate (I know KTMs are better at this, but it's the surprise I liked), anyway the pros list goes on (compared to TB500, I know I have to compare it to Him rather than TB, I thought it'll be an interesting comparison), better brakes , smoother engine, better tyres, cool instrument cluster, exhaust note...
the only thing to hold me back from booking mojo was the pillion seat, now I learn that It can be fixed through various seat vendors( Bangalore)...
So yeah, That was my initial impressions on the bike... it's a genuinely good motorcycle, I thought sharing this would help at least some riders choose mojo for a fantastic machine which it is.
Decided to buy the Mojo yesterday (4th Feb 2017), planned to go with White one.. really liked the matte red-- apparently, Mahindra has stopped that color...
Please suggest some riding gear ( Jacket, gloves & helmet (I like LS2))
Please comment on my decision to choose Mojo...
Thanks in advance.
Looking forward to joining the tribe

Hope you have lots of safe miles riding it.
Riding gear - Jacket - Rynox Tornado Pro, Spartan Helios, TBG has good ones too.
Gloves - TBG Street (I couldn't get it in my size), Rynox Pro/Evo ones
Helmet - Personally I like Sol and MT Blade/Axxis as they fall a bit in budget, LS2 is amazing but pricey.
There is a separate thread on it under 'universal threads', you can have a look at it as well. (Warning: It's a huge thread)
As you are in Bangalore, Let's Gear Up in HsR is a good place to look at! They are good in terms of customer experience, but their stock is very limited.
I couldn't get gloves and helmet of my size hence had to settle with something else.
