    2) Also if I lower front USD forks by 15mm will it increase handling in traffic?

    3) Is it possible to modify seat to offer more comfort to pillion?

    point 2:

I had done it. it gives a huge improvement in handling in city riding. it became nimble & sporty

Just a background..i recently owned a Himalayan and sold it....looking to buy a reliable tourer...

I took the mojo on a long ride(rented from wicked ride)...i absolutely loved the engine and gearbox...

worried about the brakes and the fuel efficiency...the rear felt very vague(may its a rented bike)...mileage seemed good i did abt 540km with 18 L of fuel...but the fuel indicator suddenly dropped from 2 bars to empty...how much fuel does it have once it empty bar blinks...

Any long term niggles owning the bike...and r the spares expensive...just being cautious after the Himalayan debacle...
I had booked a himalayan and cancelled the booking for the same reason you sold it. I own a Mojo now, trust me, only maintenance I do on the bike is Chain lube and wash. For touring, its the best you can get in market for that price. Brakes are effective and work how a tourer would need it to, just that they are different from the brakes on other bikes, rear locks easily and front is progressive, that is something you get used to in about 2k kms.

Fuel efficiency, I get around 32kmpl with speed ranging 85-105kmph on highway all day. If I go beyond that, FE is drops by ~2-3kmpl. In city, I did not bother to measure it. Many have reported drastic drop in FE after removing DB killers, as a tourer I dont think you need that noise.

Rear is lighter than Front for sure, I did not find it troublesome at all, with Lugggage tucked on the rear, it evens out without much issues.

Fuel indicator - yes, that happens on my bike too, from two bars to blinking in about 60kms, when it starts blinking it has arount 2-3ltrs of fuel. I think the last bar is considered as reserve, hence the blinking ( thats just my assumption).
Spares - Slightly on the higher side, but wont drill a hole in your wallet.

I went through same dilemma before taking the leap, now its just start it and leave without hesitation. If you ask me for "buy or not to buy?", I would say a solid yes. hope this helps, Cheers!
Be the change you want to see in other Riders!

Congrats.. I'm from Guwahati and interested in Mojo. In the Shillong traffic how's it to ride?because in Guwahati also very bad traffic and we ride within the city a lot.
                  Which was your previous bike?

                      Heyy thanks for this...

Took it on a trip to gandikota(rented)..absolutely loved the bike...little sceptical about the tyres(very nice..afraid maybe too expensive to replace)...any idea how much does it cost to replace them...

Also the rear passenger seat is quite narrow...any aftermarket seats avaialable for the bike....

Just the news of ABS holding me back....but its one of the best tourer ive ridden(having previosuly owner the cbr and the himalayan)

                        1. Stock tyre set costs about 12K when taken from Mahindra SVC itself. It'll be costlier outside. Although you have alternatives like Michelin Pilot Street Radial tyres which are cheaper and last longer.
                        2. You can get your seat cushioned, i.e add foam according to your preferences from any seat mod shop. There are no aftermarket seat itself AFAIK. You have ride-on-air and the likes as well.
                        3. No idea about ABS.

By any chance, were you at Khandelwal Motors, Patparganj with a broken front right-side indicator ? If so, we met today. Rear brakes are indeed dangerous

I was there to get the luggage carrier installed. Cost being 1.8K for the side mounts and 2K for the top rear mount, with 150 bucks as labour charge = Rs 3950 total.

This does come with a backrest bar of sorts -

Is this the matte red color ? I read in some forum that the matte colour has been discontinued as there was some issues with the colour as it was peeling out near d petrol enter point .

No this is the normal red-white color, I have also never seen a matte red bike on the streets, however, check some pages back in this thread, someone else has got it.
