Degrading the bike is not a good option. Are they developing ABS version?

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
My dealer simply said no ABS until 2017 Q4Originally posted by OCTO View PostYes they are working on the ABS version, rumored to be launched in October with ex showroom price approximately 1.92 L.
So we only got mojo ABS in 2018
I don't know it's true.

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
It could be the case that the dealer doesn't want one to wait for the ABS version, this would hamper his monthly sales figure.
If in case, he is telling the truth people serious about ABS will be forced to go either with CS400 or Duke 390.
MOJO ABS's pricing might be close to that of 390 Duke.
With the new and better version 390 on the cards it would be foolish of Mahindra to make the potential buyers wait.Last edited by OCTO; 08-20-2016, 05:35 AM.

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Visited Mahindra dealer for the test drive of MOJO. Bike looks big and way better in flesh.
Just loved the seating/riding posture. My friend (KTM fanboy) loved it too. 😁
I noticed some nuts and bolts were rusted in the demo bike. Has any of you owner noticed it on your bikes?
When asked about ABS, same old thing.... It will take long time for the launch and you can get it fitted in future. He gave me an estimated figure of 15-20K. I'm guessing it may be more.

Hi guys,
Have been following this thread eagerly
I am planning to book the mojo @ the synergy showroom.( N.R.colony, Bangalore) Any specific things to keep in mind during the PDI? Also are there any freebies that I can expect from them( like any accessories)I guess people who have taken delivery recently can answer this.
Thanks in advance.

Perhaps that explains the cheaper parts - Adjusting for the increase in price due to ABS. One can only hope they launch the ABS version later this year.Yes they are working on the ABS version, rumored to be launched in October with ex showroom price approximately 1.92 L.

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
He just bluffed you, Retrofitting an ABS is not possible as they have to change whole brake assembly and brake line and may need more modification. So i dont know why he quoted a figure of 20000. But as per discussion with one of their people at auto expo 2016 it is not possible.Originally posted by OCTO View PostVisited Mahindra dealer for the test drive of MOJO. Few people in Delhi got the Mojo riding jacket and tank bag, So i am not sure if they have cut the jacket out now.Originally posted by AgentK View PostI got a crash bar and a magnetic tank bag as a freebie. Pester your dealer.

Funrider - looks like it.
I have (somehow) made up my mind to wait and get the bike only when its launched with ABS. I don't want the "jugaadu" work done, specially on the critical/vital part of the bike.
Thanks for the information man.
That's why one should attend the auto expo, you get to interact directly with the company guys and not the sales oriented dealers.

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
Respected members,
I posted query regarding ABS in mahindra, and I got a call from engineer in r and d department. He said that ABS is in pipeline. If will take some time. Some time, not like 2-3 yrs. So, guys who were having this question, rest assured, there will be abs version.

Re: Mahindra Mojo Owners Reviews and Experiences
I got my Mojo on Monday and just finished the registration process (got caught by the police on the way to the RTO and had to suck it up and grovel for 10 mins to get out of there).
I feel that the engine has some vibration after 4.5 to 5k RPM. Anyone else feel the same or is it because the bike is new?

The weight here is in good in a sense that it gives more stability at higher speed to the Mojo. Though the same weight also plays role in breaking in a negative fashion. However the Breaking in Mojo is good even without ABS.Originally posted by Punto@bang View PostAfter hearing the service commitment level I am more leaned towards buying this bike but my only concern at this point of time is bike weight and non abs.
i am not a fat guy being 5.7 and 65kg so found more easier to handle the Ktm 390 hence confused here and also 390 is having ABS.
If somebody has got good experience with both please comment.
I am a 5.5" with medium built and drives the bike with full confidence be it city, highways or hills. its the skills and bike that matters not the height my friend.
Dani Pedrosa is 5.2" and is a Moto GP rider
