      How good is the service? How is the engine reliability? I'm already seeing a lot of duets & maestro edge in my locality. How is the texture of seat? Is it too soft or too hard? Waiting in anticipation for your reply. Thanks in advance.

        The scooter has done it's 1st free service only. The mechanic in the service centre did a good job.

        Engine is getting smoother day by day. The scooter is also smooth to ride. If you get a chance, test ride it, you'll like it.

        Here, maestro edge is still not launched!

        The seat is wide and comfortable. It is neither hard nor soft. In between both.

        There is 1 niggle though. Engine oil is leaking slightly near the rear wheel. The wheel shaft oil seal should be replaced. Hope I answered your questions.

          Maestro Edge will be launched in South probably by end of this month or 1st week of April as Demo Scooter already arrived at all dealers. What they are aiming is to get people Test drive the demo scooter and if interested pay Rs.1000 as advance booking..!! (I too have received a call from the dealer but I told him once the scooter is fully launched and readily available then will do the TD)...!

            Duet has finished the 2nd free service. The scooter is even more smooth now. Oil leakage problem rectified. Will share some pics shortly.

                (I was told that it will be towards end of this month as TD vehicle already arrived at dealers here)

                  Sure I will. Here, they have advertised the launch of maestro edge. Test ride vehicle has not arrived yet. This is the present situation. Will keep you updated.

                    Are they giving any date for the Launch?
                    I too was expecting the advertisement on Maestro Edge, but surprised to see an Ad on Duet came on today's local news paper as well as Hindu Edition. Cannot understand their idea behind this ad now..!!

                      I was aware that Volker Hero, Kannur has got a TD Vehicle and they already started booking. I actually wanted to know when exactly the scooter will be available hence wrote to them and got above reply.

                          Don't worry - I have got information from dealer here who said that Maestro Edge will be officially launched on 28th or 29th of this month and same day they will start delivering the vehicles for those doing advance booking now...!

                              The second free service was done a week before and the bill came around Rs.440. The engine is even more smooth now and the slight but annoying vibrations at some particular rpms have vanished. The side stand sensor had not arrived yet. The scooter gives a mileage of 53+ kmpl. Overall, we are satisfied with the scooter.
