Mileage is 53 kmpl at present.

Yes, the scooter is a pleasure to ride. The engine is very much smooth and refined.

Why seeing others? Even I was criticizing Hero for the split up with Honda. Now, Hero has proved me wrong and the build quality, fit and finish, refinement is top notch

That's nice to hear from you. Seems like hero is moving in right direction as far as R&D is concerned. Lots of big profile hiring as far as R&D is concerned. Big battle is getting set up. Hero vs Honda. Even though I'm a Honda customer I would support hero to be victorious. After all it's an Indian brand .

Yes, one of the reasons that I like hero because it is an Indian company. Happy riding

Hi jeswin, how are you? How is your duet doing? Are sales of duet in Hyderabad improving? Please give an update on your ownership experience. Waiting in anticipation.

I'm doing good bro. Duet has done around 6300 kms.

I'm from Tamil nadu mate. So I don't know about the sales in Hyderabad.

There is a little squeaking noise inside the handle bar for now at lower rpm. Other than that, the scooter is running great. Will fix that at the next service.

              Hi bro,

Liked your thread very much. Did you test drive maestro edge? What is the difference in handling? how is the night riding, i mean the headlight of Duet?

                Thank you for the compliments.

I did not test ride the maestro edge. I just checked it while giving the duet for service last time. The switches in the edge are just awesome. Superb build quality. Overall the scooter is big.

I ride a 2013 passionpro. Duet's headlamp is 2 times brighter than my bike. Beam throw is in rectangle shape. So, better visibility.

Maestro Edge was not available when Hero introduced Duet in south India states, hence not possible for test drive that time.( Maestro Edge was released here 4/5 months after Hero introduced Hero Duet ).

Duet has done 6800 kms till date. There are some squeaking noise inside the right side of the handle bar. Will get that fixed with double sided tape in the next service. The boot lamp is also not working.

The scooter is running fine and smooth with a mileage above 50 kmpl.
