I think this kind of vibration can be attended and corrected in the 1st service. I heard that Hero scooters vibrate at low speed until it crosses 1000 or more kms and then it settles. However, you will love the ride at speed in excess of 40km/h (I enjoy the ride at the speed 50+ Km/h.)

            Hello Duet fellow owners ,
I have bought hero duet and tvs jupiter on same day that is on 8 august and till now both the scooters have done around 350kms but i feel that duet engine is harsh and doesnt have much pick up . Tvs jupiter has super smooth engine and has more pickup than duet .
I went to hero showroom to check the oil level also but its upto mark .
But i feel that hero duet engine is more harsh . Does any of the owners feel the same ??

                Done with 4th free service.

                Odo reads 7500+ kms.

Scooter is super smooth and delivers 53kmpl.

Members who are feeling that the engine is harsh, please wait. It will become very smooth after 5000 kms.

Same case with my passion pro. It was also rough and use to vibrate at the beginning. Now, after 3.5 years and 46,000 kms, the engine is butter smooth.

                    Re: Hero Duet

I guess we should wait . I ll surly wait for 1st servicing at 500kms and than see how does the engine work .

I hope it will be smoother After 1000kms. I am also planning for a scooty from many days but i am not getting time to think because i am busy now a days. Hero Duet and Maestro Edge both are in my list.

It is the character of hero bikes i guess. The older the engine gets, the smoother it becomes.

Duet is perfect in terms of features and mileage....
Only problem is engine vibrations ...which are annoying

It will get smoother as time goes. Bajaj engines are exact opposite of hero engines.
