This video should give a clear picture on what to check and how to identify if there is a problem with charging. Though it's for a different bike.

Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience
Hi All,
I am new to XBHP. Good to hear good reviews of Benelli TNT 25, so am sure that my decision of getting the same is correct. Also, would like to inform you all that would be getting the delivery of the bike in the 1st week of Jan.
Also, I need a suggestion from all of you guys, that i would be installing crash protectors on my bike, but am confused that should I install the one from the company showroom or an aftermarket one. The one from the company is costing me around 5K.
Regards
Pankaj

Go for the company stock frame sliders. Try to keep the bike under 5000 rpm during initial 1000 km. Go for long trips.

Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience
Hi Guys,
Good news for TNT 25 owners, Benelli is coming up with an aftermarket exhaust for TNT 25. Had been to Bengaluru SVC, the SVC guy showed a video of IXIL exhaust being tested. Guessing it will be launched very soon.
Will try to get the video from them if possible...Cheers

Congrats buddy !! So buy the Frame sliders from Benelli itself. And as Unni mentioned please follow the run in procedure mentioned in Owners manual for the better engine life.Originally posted by pankaj_trivedi View PostHi All,

Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience
Which Michelin tires did you have in your Unicorn. The Sirac or the Pilot Sporty?Originally posted by GTDOM View PostI agree with Anway that Metzeler for excellent grip, else you will have skidding issues during rains & especially when you apply only front brake during emergency.
I have Michelin on my Unicorn. Although they are good than MRF

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience
Thanks for the warm welcoming! I thought exactly the opposite! I wanted to have the white color when I first saw it but when the motorcycle was launched in Mexico they were available just in black and red! I was so dissapointed.
I know that the black colour in vehicles looks elegant and sporty but I don't like that it requires a lot of care, you have to wash them almost daily and scratches are very visible so I chose the red color on mine. And after a while I realized that the red is the best color because it highlights a lot the italian nature and design of the motorcycle!

Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience
I totally agree. It's true that some brands are more reliable than others but having problems in the first production batches is something relatively common no matter if it's a BMW, Ducati, Yamaha or Kawasaki. At the beginning I was really upset while waiting that much for my parts to arrive to Mexico but then I realized afterwards that the same happens for the majority of manufacturers (I have been speaking to other motorcyclists in my country).Originally posted by GTDOM View PostCouldn't Be Silent as so many newbies and users complaining on the product.
I am using the bike since last 8 months. Not a single problem. Those who dont want to buy this bike, dont buy, Fine. But dont judge product without use.
The sales of Benelli today is more than RE in Mumbai. Quality of Benelli is Top Notch. Remember all defective benelli parts are replaced free of cost except wear and tear parts. Try doing that with the Bajajs and Hondas and you will know the reality. I have had enough experience with Honda & Bajaj, Pathetic Service is the only Word.
But agree that everyone has right to decide their own ride as user ship reviews helps decide. Hence wanted to add some positive vibes about the bike as well, in midst of criticism.
Way to go Benelli. Happy with your product and service, though a bit expensive but still happy as I know I am riding a Benelli and not just other Honda And Bajaj. So willing to spend more on service if that takes good care of my bike.
Cheers! Happy Riding....
I can confirm that those problems came from a specific batch since a letter was officially sent to all customers in Mexico saying that if you bought your TNT25 between March and June some mechanical/electrical parts could need replacement so they were recommending to go to the service centers to get the vehicles checked free of charge. Luckily I got mine in February (delivered the very same day I paid it) and I have ridden my motorcycle for more than 6,000 kilometers with no issues at all.
Now regarding the cost of the maintenance I would like to share one powerful thought with this forum: It's OUR responsibility to be INTELLIGENT consumers.
These days, smartphones are designed to be obsolete in less than a year and the same happens for most of our gadgets and machines at home. If you bought software ten years ago it was yours forever but now you pay for yearly or monthly subscriptions. Doctors and pharmaceutical industries are no longer interested in curing diseases they just want to indefinitely "control" them for getting an endless monthly rent from the people. I think you don't need a million of similar examples... you get my point.
Perhaps the following recommendations are applicable only to my country but at the very beginning I spent a lot of time visiting a lot of service centers until I found one that allowed me to stay and see what they do to my motorcycle (so far it has had 3 services) and I realized that the essential service (change of oil, filters, spark plugs, etc.) is very easy and I learned how to do it myself. I also noticed that (at least in Mexico) they put mineral oil and they charge it as synthetic. I also learned that prices vary from state to state so I’m buying the most affordable “wear and tear” parts in quantities so I can store them with a controlled cost. With that knowledge I now bring with me my oil (Motul 5100) and genuine parts (purchased in advance) and they only charge me the labor costs which is cheaper.
As soon as the warranty ends (in Mexico is just for one year or 12,000 kilometers) I will do the basic services myself and I have already spoken with some mechanics for doing other “complex” tasks (such as changing brake pads or valve adjustment) outside the service center at a very reduced costMy conclusion is that we, as consumers, have to protect ourselves by learning how the industries work for preventing abuses as much as possible. Instead of complaining of the situations that we have in our corresponding countries, let’s benefit from this kind of forums for sharing our knowledge on how we can do the services ourselves or see how we can get better prices by ordering compatible parts in other places (the internet facilitates a lot). Remember that, at the end, we (customers) are the ones who dictate the prices on the markets. If Benelli notices that their customers go to other places for maintaining their motorcycles they will be forced to reduce their prices fairly.
