I'm sure you're getting duped in some manner if your claims of 2.5k per service is true.

Labor charges alone are ~1.8-2k in many places. So either you're not getting all the stuff serviced/replaced or you're not telling the truth.

Exactly my point as said by Anway the labour cost (Paid service ) is 1600 + taxes (around 1700) after that we have to pay for all consumables.

Oil 1100 (Normal Oil ) that alone takes it to more than 2.5.

So on an average even if we take 3.5K per service from second service it is around putting 11 to 13K per year for service based on diffrent consumables we change.

Now brake pads we do atleast change it once a year so add 4K Rear and 2-3K front(Not sure about the price) which takes the service cost of 20K per year.

Below is the service costed in quoted from this thread .

2nd Service update -
Cost breakup as follows-

Engine Oil - 1100 Rs (qty 1.5 ltr)
Oil filter - 210 Rs
Chain Cleaning - 311
Labour - 1680
Total servicing cost - 3749 (after adsing stax and vat)
Even if you take out 311 for chain cleaning it is 3500 with taxes.

Now that is a huge amount for 250CC bike.

Not sure if something was wrong with this bike or maybe he clocked too many kms in short span.
Hmm, its actually only top up of coolant/brake oil and not change. Even then it was done only once in second service cost about 160 rps.

The problem is the labour cost here and I'm hearing it has been hiked recently. Service intervals are scheduled for the well-being of the bike in general, but in Benelli it's scheduled for the well-being of DSK it seems (just IMO)

Exactly they put the frequent service intervals to run the showrooms. For premium bikes y do we need to have that much frequent service intervals then what is the point of buying the premium bikes. We buy them thinking that they are more reliable than any other normal bikes.

Breakdown as follows -
Engine Oil - 1100 Rs (Cost around 800 Rs per liter),
Oil Filter - 210
Labour Charges - 1680

Total - 2990 /-

So labour cost is around 1600 Rs approx (which might fluctuate) for Tnt 25.

Quite Similar Rates, But labour charges I think is lower here, (may be increased now as many members mentioned it).
I am not having the bills to prove Divya Sharan, as I dont preserve them. So My figure of 2500/-approx is close to above example, which proves my truth. Also dont think that I am getting duped cos Benelli service centre has observation bay where you can observe your bikes when they are serviced. And I always wait there till my bike is serviced. So probably my Prices are 1-2 months old and are updated now, or Mumbai Charges less compared to other cities.

Also my point was not to challenge the TNT300 shown charges. Only submission was its not 4000/- per service for TNT25 as cited by many.

Agree that 4 months Interval is too early, but in a way its good that your bike gets checked & pampered in short intervals. Maybe 6 months is perfect Interval.

But don't you think for 250cc single cylinder bike it's too much? Long intervals could have justified that price.

Even if we take 2500 every 4 months, it comes up to 10k every year only for the bare minimum excluding other wear and tear parts. Which is way costly compared to the other bikes in this segment and even a segment above. 6 months interval would've been ideal at that price.

Got my bike inspected for heating issue, seems only had to top up the coolant as the engine temperature shoot up even while the bike is running at speeds of 70 kmph. Now everything seems to have sorted.

They quote it is compatible with BJ250. Can someone please check and let me know if it fits our bike.

Hi All,
Update regarding bike last week battery on my bike again started giving issues and i visited svc on checking cause was found that staor coil was going bad. It was working but started to getting damage so the svc guys change the stator coil. And this is second time stator coil is getting changed in two months. Original stator coil gone bad after 6K kms and got it changed two months back and then again in last week got it changed. On further checking with them got to know that some Tnt 25 have faced these issues and new make of stator coil is fitted in them now including my bike. And interesting thing is not all Tbt 25 is facing this issue only specific ones are facing.

Lets see how long this one holds.

I would like to mention that DSK Benelli Pune svc gave an superb service and also many thanks to Roshan (service engineer) from Pune for the proactive work and a very good service.
Thanks,
Anway Kale.

If we are on the topic, in delhi ncr service cost is 1800 + taxes so always near 2k . Brake pads are near 4k for rear, finding some alternatives.

I believe it's the initial batch of T25 that had the issues with Stator coil. Since I had top up coolant last week, today I faced less
issues with heat even during peak traffic on E-Square road in Shivaji Nagar, Pune.

Agree Pune SVC guys going out of their way to attend to customers queried and problems. They waited for me to top up coolant after their shift
completed as I was again going to Solapur which is a nice gesture from them.

Has anyone experienced or help me to ascertain if our T25 can withstand tour where most of the route is off-road, I mean can our bike sustain routes which is full of loose gravel and etc?

Hi rohanrash last saturday i took my bike to Sinhagad which consists of very bad roads in some patches and i was able to take up there and come back without any problems. Only care to be taken is Metzeler tyres are not loose gravel friendly and tend to slip more so be careful on loose gravel altough no tyre can sustain its grip on loose gravel but Metzelers more tend to loose grip. And also be careful from sharp stones as it is a soft compound tyres which tend to get damaged if taken over sharper stones for long time.
Thanks,

Hi anwaykale thank you for the prompt reply. I guess we have to replace the stock Metzeler later if we intend to go on routes where we have sharp stones or which can hold its ground on loose gravels.
