Thanks buddy !! I have not opted for newly introduced service package. The costs mentioned are all from normal costs.
Thanks,

Thanks buddy!! For tyre pressure you can try different combinations and check what is suitable for the Michelin. And regarding the tyre change you removed the wheel from svc and taken it to tyre shop or all process is done by tyre shop person?
Thanks,
Anway Kale.

Hi Shivaprasad,

I don't know if its too late to reply, but here is my experience after riding for 4k kms:
The BADS:
1. Like every other quarter litre single cylinder motorcycles, TNT 25 also has some vibrations, but that is not annoying at least to me.
2. Clutch is little stiffer compared to other offerings in this segment from other manufacturers.
3. Hazard light should have been factory-installed.

The GOODS:
1. TNT25 is of-course a looker. You will get lot of glances on the road, and of-course a lot of questions.
2. Performance is good. I know Duke has more throttle response, but TNT25 is what satisfies me with its performance. Cross 5k RPM, and oh God, it fills like the bike just woke up.
3. Engine sound. Yes TNT25 has growls that is sweet for the riders ears. Cross 5k RPM, and it sounds even better.
4. TNT25 is comfortable, even for the pillion. You can easily do 1k kms a day with it.
5. Stability is what I like about TNT25. I clocked 140kph(It could go beyond that, but I didn't get a chance to push further) and its damn stable and smooth.
6. Build quality is awesome. Even what I feel is TNT25's switches and all these are even more premium than those of TNT300.
7. SVC guys are helpful.

I don't know what I am going to face after 20k kms, but till now I am super happy with my choice.
Hope this helps
Thanks,
Jo

Bro myself is 5.8 and 85 kg. But the bike is so comfortable. And regarding the performance the bike is so linear and powerful. Its not aggressive but stable. I have gone for 700+ per day trip in the bike. Didn't have any back pain, but sore butt and shoulder pain was there. And regarding the maintenance it will be costly, but i think the new AMC is worth.

God spede

And Vibrations will reduce as time will pass and as engine will get bead in but it will not completely go.Breaking efficiency is ok if you compare it with other same segment bikes but as brake pads bead in braking will improve after certain extent. But braking is not bad.My Tnt 25 gives me a steady mileage of 30 Kmpl and for twice was able to achieve 35 kmpl. And it totally depends on how you ride.In 1st service Labour charge is not charged hence bill comes around Rs 2200 and post 1st service cost is around Rs 3200 to Rs 4000 (Also depends on which city you stay due to different taxes cost may differ little bit.Initially gears are somewhat hard but as and when engine munches more miles gears get smooth (n my bike I have this experience)Answer is same which I mentioned for 1st Question above.Yes there are some issue like coolant leakage which I faced twiced due to faulty water pump which was replaced promptly by service centre guys on my bike, not heard about gear box shifts as of now in our Benelli Pune circle,
And yes spare cost are quite high as all the parts are imported but in long term the high running parts like chain & sprocket, brake pads will get localized as sales of Benelli is increasing so cost will come down upto a extent. But also keep in mind that quality of parts is top notch and build quality is quite sturdy.
And regarding the availability it is not always an issue basic parts like Air filter, Oil filter, Handle bar, Chain & sprocket etc are always available. But in case of accident bike it will need more parts to replace which will take time.
Please note few things difference between costs of Tnt 300 and Tnt 25 is almost 1.5 Lakhs and Tnt 300 is a twin cylinder and a good sounding beast and definitely in performance it is better than Tnt 25 but again back to the service costs point it will be more than Tnt 25 for example a regular paid service for Tnt 300 will cost you around 5000 to 6000 Rs (Tnt 300 can comment on the same). You can also check in Tnt 300 thread further for more price details.
But Tnt 25 is also a looker and good performing motorcycle and I in love with my Tnt 25 and never regretted of buying it. And my bike also gave me some issues but most of them have been sorted now. My bike is from first lot and it was a new product then so definitely it was bound to have some issues. And no motorcycle is perfect every other motorcycle is bound to have issue but as the product gets matured issues are ironed out. For example first lot bikes faced faulty water pump issues which resulted in coolant leakage which was sorted out by newly designed water pump and same was then fitted in my bike.

My bike have now crossed 13000 Kms in 1.4 years of ownership!! And I use it 50 kms daily plus weekend rides.
If you are planning to get new generation Duke my suggestion will be wait for at least 6 months so that in case of any issues those will get improved in next lot. And this not only applies for Duke but for any new product.
Hope the above answers have helped you. In case of any further queries please let me know will be happy to help you.

Totally agree with the below sentences of yours!!
I liked the Design / look and sound of the bike.
Wanted a unique and touring kind of a bike.
Don't wanna be another Duke owner.
I always prefer quality product.
Want a comfortable bike for city and highway.
Yo be frank i love this bike.

Hi,
First of all My Sincere Thanks to you for giving me such a wonderful reply. Had doubts in my mind.
The sales guy said now all the issues have been taken care from Jan 2017. Now BS-4 may be still good.
I love this bike and planning to book this week. As I inquired with others and what you have said is right.

Warm Regards

I am trying to write something the first time, please excuse me for any mistakes

All the comparison done here will be with KTM, as that was my last bike

I was using a KTM RC 200 for an year now, it was a fun bike to ride, But been a short Rider 5.6 and bikes aggressive siting posture in traffic it was not really a cake walk , It was becoming really difficult to take the bike to office on daily basis, with helmet the neck / back and then the wrist use to pain. At times i use to come downstairs to go by bike but eventually use to take car leaving the bike behind, reason lot of pain. i did merely around 8K KM and it was lying in the parking for last 2 months untouched/unused, Eventually decided to sell it of and got a good buyer and price for the same, so SOLD.

Personal opinion KTM RC200 is a fantastic bike, but it not made for daily commutes.

Lesson Learnt
: I will not buy any bike with fairing and sports sitting posture, bike should be test rode for at least 10 KM before buying it.

New Bike Hunt.

KTM Duke 200
: This bike was always on my mind while selling RC, because it was comfortable and i just loved the excellent machine and was readily available. I even booked one and was waiting for funds availability.

Honda CBR 250 : I went for a test ride, and really felt it is getting old did not like the updated colors at all. Dropped.

Mahindra MOJO : I remember how eagerly i was waiting for this bike when its website was leaked and the awesome mahindra teaser, was refreshing XBHP whole day to get details, Went to check it Test ride bike was not available, so again went after a week still No, So I just said No as i promised my self not to buy anything before getting a long satisfying test drive. Dropped.

KTM Duke 390
: I always wanted to buy it and has all the bells and whistles, ABS, Slipper Clutch but It was out of my budget, you may laugh on me, but my budget was strictly 2L, and this was going around 220K, and If in future I have to upgrade from benelli to some 600CC bike i have to run on tight budget. And again I found benellie Fresh and new so.Dropped.

I had finalized KTM Duke 200 made booking and was working on funds to complete the payment. 12 December was as usual browsing XBHP/Team BHP and some other bike portals and saw the news of DSK benelli TNT 25 launching soon on 18th December. Just out of curiosity gave a call to DSK Benellie Showroon and asked if they are taking bookings, first call was unanswered, second call the guy on the call was not interested probably and was not sure.
The first call which was unanswered gave me a call back and asked for details, he said he will get back to me.

On Monday Morning got a call from the same guy and said they will take booking, I agreed to book the bike on conditions like, first complete refund if I don't like the bike in flesh, second a longish test ride and third it should not be more than 2Lacs on road. He agreed and came all the way to Office on the TNT 300, took the cheque for booking and also gave a test drive on Benelli 300, Man 300 is a hell of a machine the way it sounds is awesome and the ride quality was good, i was completely sold but it was out of my budget so i let it go with a heavy heart. I am stupid

Then came the day 18th december was in office refreshing XBHP launch thread and asking a questions to Monk, It was launched at the price of 168 ex showroom and was completely in my budget even when i Took the Metzelers tyres and 0 Dep Insurance saved 3K lol.

First Impression

At 1:30 PM got a call from the sales guy that the bike is available for display and you can have a look at it, went to showroom(its near my office) and the bike did look good in flesh and the best part was the built quality it had Italian written all over even though it is manufactured in china . Got the keys to check the exhaust note and it was no were close to TNT 300, but yes it was much better then the KTM (Personal Opinion) and it has a lot bass in it.

First Ride Impression

Sat on the bike and the first thing was, the seat it was a SPA to my Butt Lol, Sitting posture was very Comfortable. ignition o, Annoying FI started, waited for a few seconds, Started the bike, It sounded good nothing extra ordinary and was not loud. First Gear, The clutch was kind of heavy.
Now the best part it was really smooth and it had that kind of whistle sound in it, i cannot really explain it, but the first time i took out KTM it did not really bought that Grin on my face or the excitement on my face which i got when i was ridding it. yes there were vibration and the brakes were kind of sluggish. The exaust sounds good, The throttle response is good and not hyper like duke, it handles well and is quick. The handle bar is little heavy compared to duke.
The potholes and bumps were soaked really well, i took it on few big bumps and it did not scrape the belly pan. I also took my brother as pillion for few KM's and he was comfortable on the bike, he is 6.1 and weight 78KG . Overall I was a happy customer,
and it did tick the last point for my purchase that was comfort.

The booking was finalized and i told him to confirm my booking and wanted the delivery in first week of January.

Delivery
It was good, he called me one day prior and told me to be in the showroom by 3, they make all the customer feel special, took all the documents.
Then went to the benellie ramp, bike was covered removed it. they provided garland, pooja thali and coconut/sweets, also had 7 liters of petrol in it, pretty generous, KTM provided one liter and key in hand no briefing nothing not even a single flower, it was not even washed when i went to take it. few picture and off we go.
The way it sounds every next signal you get a new question, also had 7 litres of petrol in it.

yeh benelli benellie kya hai yeh benelli benelli lol.(What bike is this benellie ?)

Kitna Deti hai (Average ?)

Kitne Ki hai (How much ?)

Anyways I am happy with my purchase as of now and expecting a better service for now.

Pros
1. Comfort
2. Benellie DNA very important it has it.
3. Power Deliver
4. Suspension
5. Build Quality

Cons
1. Vibrations in 2nd gear(Expecting it to be reduced after first service)
2. Brake feedback should have been better.
3. Little costly on pocket .
4. Service interval is 4K, is this serious
5. less service centers.

Anyone bought BS-4 TNT 25? I heard all those issues (Vibrations, Water pump) has been taken care.
Any owners with BS-4 TNT 25 please reply...

Hi Shivaprasad,
Other issues might be sorted by now but vibrations will be there as it is a single cylinder engine. To be safer side please take thorough test ride / multiple test rides before making payment.
Thanks,
Anway Kale.
