Went to both Triton TVS Hebbal and Prakruthi TVS Ganganagar, Bangalore. At both, no info of ABS variant. Even Pirelli tires option once ticked, will delay the delivery of the bikes. Both showrooms have backlogs of 1 month orders. There were 2 bikes on display in the Prakruthi showroom-Matt black and Matt red. I had seen it on display last week, but when I went today, both the bikes weren't there! When I enquired, their reply was shocking. Both aren't there now-because, apparently they were customer bikes! Now I'm bit confused, how can they give display bikes to customers?! What the hell! Imagine the number of ppl who would have touched those 2 bike's switchgears and sat on the bikes and etc! Seriously what shit.

There is a gloss white one on display in Prakruthi, none in Triton. I believe that one atleast is a proper display bike, coz I had seen that bike (I think it is the same one only) many months before in Triton, now it's not there. I switched on the console, so amazing it is. Backlit and with loads of info.

Now I'm seriously getting irritated with TVS. Launching a bike in January and still 7 months on, no updates, no accessories nothing. Even test bikes aren't available. I know test bikes are there in some showrooms, but why will I travel so far to test ride the bike when there are 2 showrooms near my place?!

Instead of testing the Akula 310 or Apache 300 or whatever now, they should first finish testing and start selling all the variants of their existing bikes!

Anyways, the RTR200 base variant with Remora tires is 1 Lakh 9000 rupees on road Bangalore, without accessories. Check the pic attached of the front page of the brochure.

IMO, there is nothing wrong in keeping it at display. If the buyer is ok with the display bike then no issues. When i bought mu Hunk, i booked one particulaer variant which war rare at that time. but one bike was kept at display and i requested then to give me that bike, but unfortunately it was booked already.

One thing is they should not give the test ride bike to the new customers without their approval.

It should bother them you have booked those bikes or have not specified the dealer to keep them as display bikes.

There is loads of physics, mechanics that goes into making an exhaust, just to improve the looks or sound in many case, changing the stock exhaust will only screw the engine.

Just Crossed the 1000 mark on My RTR 200, been using for the sole purpose of office commute and local runs. I envy the guys who had taken it for long rides.
Guys Can anyone help me how finding out the sweet spot on the seat and also the correct way of holding the handle bar cause my palms and back hurt just for a short ride of 1 hour on traffic with constant use of clutch. I guess i put a lot of weight on my hands while riding.

Hey as you have completed your first service also. Please let me know how do you start the bike first in the morning. Do you have to use the choke compulsorily? or without choke also it starts.
I have completed 350 kms and by this weekend will complete the first service. But morning and evening when i start the bike i have to use the choke as it doesn't start without it . Is it normal. Or after first service it will become proper.

Got to use choke every time when the Engine becomes cold, say for up to 4 hours of stanby time. But thats not a problem even the service center may recommend you to use choke for cold starts. As per my knowledge as time progresses the bike can start even on cold starts without a choke. If you try starting without a choke for many times there is probability that you may end up draining your battery and we dont have kick start either in this so its better to use choke and start during such occasions.

For hands try using gloves.....hands will pain less and once you get use to will not feel the pain.... I also used it today and felt much better..

Gloves are a good remedy for timebeing, although with time you will trace that sweet posture wherein u will feel no backache or the stress on the palm,Which even i faced during the initial days. Gearshift indicator can be adjusted according to our preference i had it set to 4000 rpm since the bike is in runninn period. Its nothing fixed it was just designed for riders who wish to maintain the rpm in a range in order to get the max mileage and to avoid overstressing the bike at anygear.

Thanks Guys will surely use gloves while riding. Besides Guys who have completed their run in period can you please share your experience on the Ride and also about the Hill climb and cornering of the bike.

Bro, even earlier a similar issue regarding whether to start with choke or not was raised in this forum. Even I was apprehensive about it since my 5 year old Aviator starts without the choke every single time. But I have covered above 450 kms on my RTR200 and havn't used the choke even once. I don't know if it is technically/functionally good or bad, but i don't think starting with choke always is not natural for the bike. Choke, by my knowledge is for cold starts, not for normal days.

Just my opinion though. Feel free to fill in..
