          Hi,
There are lots of assumptions and false news actually, when you go to dealers they will say it takes couple of months, or no idea!.Some online posts say they are rolling out this month end. But only TVS knows exactly.
If you need ABS and have lots of time to wait then wait untill next year it seems (overall my assumption based on lots of research).

I'm going to book normal version this sunday. I have waited for ABS version for almost 3 months. (i just gave up ).

The pre sale staff are a bunch of smooth talkers, and the post sales service staff are either severely incompetent, or overburdened with work. In either case, your bike will take the beating. These guys are good for nothing but basic service of your vehicle. All you can expect from them is a wash, oil change and chain oiling. Sometimes they don't even do all of these. And once your bike is old enough - 3 years in the case of my old RTR180 ABS, they'll start replacing parts stating that its worn out. Once, they replaced my steering cone set three times in a row, and the bloody problem still didn't get fixed. The person named Keerti - he's one of the good chaps. But he doesn't service the bikes anymore. He's service manager or something and he sucks at that job for sure. IMO, He was better off servicing vehicles. I'm sorry if this is turning into a rant, but I can't begin to explain how much I detest the idiots at Prakruthi TVS. They ruined my bike and broke my trust in TVS. If TVS doesn't get it's shit together and fix it's in house servicing, no amount of "mergers" with any company will help it. Their products are great off the shelf, but they don't last, courtesy the bad servicing.
Go to Ashwa TVS near Dewegowda Petrol Bunk and catch hold of Victor/Muruga/Ashik. You will not regret in the slightest.

Ok so I have finally gone ahead and booked the Apache rtr 200 from Kubera motors HSR Layout by paying an advance of 5k. The OTR is around 1.09k same as said by the other dealers except this SA is asking for Rs350 and calling it engine warranty. I specifically asked him if its some scheme from their dealership and he told me in that its offered by TVS. I dont really buy this.

Can guys here tell me the split up they paid for their bikes in Bangalore and whether it included the above component called engine warranty.

Usually engine warranty comes at an additional price. But, get it written from them. I dont think it is included as part of the OTR

If you are going to buy ABS version only, then hornet should not be in consideration. Else go for RTR against hornet in carb category.

RTR200 ABS will take more than 4 months to reach dealerships, trust me. What I suggest you is, if you are not tall/bulky, go for RTR180 ABS. It is the only bike with dual channel ABS under 2 lakhs price range!

A Combi Brake System cannot beat Anti lock Braking System feature.

Is anybody facing problem with neutral gear? Its like i am finding the neutral too easily while riding and while changing gears from 1 to 2 or vice versa. I tried soft tap and also hard tap. sometimes it goes onto neutral while riding and so i have to always peep into the meter to see if the neutral light glows. it is a normal functioning or i need to address this to the service manager when going for next service.

I too have got the neutral while shifting to 2nd but never while shifting down from 2nd to 1.

In morning while starting the bike after last day ride ,there is clear distinct diff between 1st and 2nd for neutral but after riding few KM I do not feel the gear switch while shifting from any gear so sometime while on 1st trying to upshift I find myself on neutral.

I guess hard tap should work for you if you are getting neutral frequently .
For me when engine is hot, a very light tap can change the gear between 1 n 2 have to be very light to find the neutral.
