As per the user manual the maximum speed u can attain in the break- in period is 50kmph!! Varying the rpms all the time.!! & For ur info i got the user manual at the time of delivery only.. don't know why ur sales guy told u that...

Man I don't know about the ones you've listed, but Prakruthi TVS is a piece of s**t. I don't know how someone can get ANY service at all, at the place. The pre sale staff are a bunch of smooth talkers, and the post sales service staff are either severely incompetent, or overburdened with work. In either case, your bike will take the beating. These guys are good for nothing but basic service of your vehicle. All you can expect from them is a wash, oil change and chain oiling. Sometimes they don't even do all of these. And once your bike is old enough - 3 years in the case of my old RTR180 ABS, they'll start replacing parts stating that its worn out. Once, they replaced my steering cone set three times in a row, and the bloody problem still didn't get fixed. The person named Keerti - he's one of the good chaps. But he doesn't service the bikes anymore. He's service manager or something and he sucks at that job for sure. IMO, He was better off servicing vehicles. I'm sorry if this is turning into a rant, but I can't begin to explain how much I detest the idiots at Prakruthi TVS. They ruined my bike and broke my trust in TVS. If TVS doesn't get it's shit together and fix it's in house servicing, no amount of "mergers" with any company will help it. Their products are great off the shelf, but they don't last, courtesy the bad servicing.

Ok so I have finally gone ahead and booked the Apache rtr 200 from Kubera motors HSR Layout by paying an advance of 5k. The OTR is around 1.09k same as said by the other dealers except this SA is asking for Rs350 and calling it engine warranty. I specifically asked him if its some scheme from their dealership and he told me in that its offered by TVS. I dont really buy this.

Can guys here tell me the split up they paid for their bikes in Bangalore and whether it included the above component called engine warranty.

Is anybody facing problem with neutral gear? Its like i am finding the neutral too easily while riding and while changing gears from 1 to 2 or vice versa. I tried soft tap and also hard tap. sometimes it goes onto neutral while riding and so i have to always peep into the meter to see if the neutral light glows. it is a normal functioning or i need to address this to the service manager when going for next service.
